    morning all

It will be a few days before I have updated the welcome posts above so please bear with me. unfortunately things like work and a night out seeing a band get in the way

I am hoping for a good week this week as I want to give my consultant a shock when I stand on the scales ! Im out for lunch today but apart from that, I have nothing on so hope to be able to stick to the plan properly. Here was my menu for yesterday:

    Breakfast : grapes

Snack : curly wurly 6 syns
Second snack : 3 baby easy peel oranges

    Lunch
HEB weighed jacket served with tuna in springwater which I drained but mixed through instead with 1 tsp extra light hellmans mayonaise, lime juice, english provender very lazy chillies and spring onions. served with 28g cheese (HEA)
followed by mullerlight vanilla yogurt with chocolate sprinkles

Tea: Pork shoulder steaks roasted in the oven on a bed of pink grapefruit slices topped with orange slices and served with roasted onions, baby leaf spinach and my other HEB jacket and 2 tablespoons of sweet chilli sauce (3 syns)

    pudding : mullerlight toffee yogurt

syns : large glass of wine (8 syns) at the pub quiz (resisted the chip butties)
syns still amounted to 18.5

  • Hi all :hello: ,

Can I join back in purlees? I went on hols a few weeks ago, and just never found the time to catch up on the old thread when I got back - so a shiny new thread is the perfect excuse for me to get back into it!!

I haven't lost the plot entirely with the diet - even though I haven't been here! ;) I'll use today as my new starting point - so stats as below! :o

    Height: 5'6"
Current Weight: 10 Stone 2 Lbs
    Current BMI: 22.7
    Target weight: 9 stone 7lbs
Target BMI: 21.3 (Although I'll be happy as soon as it gets to 22 or below!!)

I've been plugging away at SW for a while now (It'll be a year in April) - and I'm not too far away from my target now - but I need a last wee push to get me there!

Anyway - today's started ok, i've only had brekkie so far, which consisted of a banana and a large clementine - but we'll see how the day pans out from here! :D

    Happy slimming worlding everyone!!

    xx

    Hi all
I would like to join you. I have been doing SW for a year and up until last week I had lost 1 and half stone but then I put on a pound and half!:( I get married on 12th September and I would like to lose at least another stone and half by then, my trouble is that I tend to take the long route (half on, one off etc) so I need so support to keep me on the straight and narrow!
    Here are my stats
    Height: 5'8"
Current Weight: 14 Stone 5.5 Lbs
    Current BMI: 30.6
    Target weight: 12 stone 10lbs

So far today I have had:
27g Oats So Simple (HEB), 250ml Semi (HEA), satsuma and some mixed fruit (the kids at school were selling it!).
    Lunch
I have Bovril pasta (FREE) (sounds odd but tastes great, cooked and drain the pasta add bovril or marmite to taste add some cheese if you wish) with cheese (HEA), with a vanilla and chocolate muller (FREE)
    Dinner
Beef stew (FREE) (using the new OXO ready made stock its free) with 3 sainsburys basic yorkshire pubs (1.5 each)
Then have some syns to play with if I want to.
My problem is I talk a great diet but don't always do it!!!
    :p
One fine day I will be slim and debt free!!
  • Hi Bec!! :hello:

You sound just like me! :D We've lost almost exactly the same over the same time period - I'm hoping that since we're plodding along on the scenic route - maybe there's more chance of it staying off?;)

You must be excited about the wedding - not long to go now! Although plenty time to shift the last of that weight!! ;)

Feel a bit of a fraud being the one to welcome you to the thread - since I've been away for a while! But it's a great wee motivational tool - there are loads of fab people on here - and I'm sure some of them will be along just shortly to say hello! :D

    xx

Sorry can't seem to post the link but go to Sainsburys/start shopping/food cupboard/table sauces, gravy and stocks/stocks and it is Oxo Ready To Use Beef Stock 450g. It's not on syns online but my consultant said it was free. I hope it is as I am using it tonight (for the first time so I will let you know)

  • Hi Tess. Nice to meet you. I'm in my 3rd week (arghhhhh) of slimming world and loving it - have a pack of 5 crunchie's in the fridge myself lol. 9 syns ;) - have had a real bad day of hunger and snaccky feelings but it is ok on this 'diet' as i can snack and munch to my hearts content! Got some SW chips on to help the picking feelings and it is keeping me away from them crunchies lol

    Hello,

I did one great day yesterday, well except I didnt think Crunchies were that much so its a good job we didnt buy any biscuits in the evening then!!! Do you know how much syns a small glass of red is?

Well done for sticking to the healthy eating for three weeks. I'm trying to be good today, even though its my birthday, I have had HEb all bran, ss milk HEa, but then as its my bday I have had a shaken moos milkshake which is ice cream, milk and a timeout mixed together. It is my bday though and I am defo up for getting back on track if I go off the rails today. I am on day three rather than week three lol.

I hope you didnt eat more than one crunchie yesterday lol. I couldnt have more than one in the house they would get eaten, thats why im at the weight i am at!!! Well done :)

  • hi there

I am really struggling this evening to stay on track & i know it would be sooo easy to stuff myself full of chocolate etc - i resisted by eating some grapes & so far its hit the sweet spot for me *fingers crossed i ca carry on resisting as i have my first wi tomorrow night & i have only really managed to stick to it since monday

    hope you are all well

    Hi,

hope your weigh in goes well tonight, remember you have probably eaten less this week and less unhealthy foods than you would have if you hadnt joined so even if you dont lose loads, stay the same or put on it is a learning curve of what you are doing to your body from what you eat yeah?

Stay positive, care about yourself and remember you are worth the effort :)
