    Hello Everyone,

It is our taster night tomorrow night at group and I am planning on making a dessert. Can you tell me if this sounds ok?

Strawberries and blackberries mixed with crushed meringue nests, topped with mullerlight yoghurt (raspberry & cranberry or strawberry flavour).

The fruit is free, yoghurts are free, the meringue nests are 2.5 syns each. They come in a box of eight. Planning on using all of them, do you think that is too many syns? There are about 20 people that stay to group.

    Jolene
    Thankyou

Deffo the strawberry one, its my fave and it compliments your choice of fruits. I always dips my strawberries in Strawberry mullerlight, so i'm biased! :p

Thankyou for your input, will use the Strawberry flavour. What do you think about putting a few sprinklings of chocolate on the top?

I think this sounds wonderful - but what I would do, is make a large bowl (as you are intending) with 7 of the meringues, but also make a small glass ful with just the one meringue in so you can say ''and this is what you could have for 2.5 syns'' makes people really keen to have a go as they can see what they would make as a single portion... does that make sense?

thats a really good idea. Makes people more aware of what they "could" have for the syns amount

Sounds delicious, but mind the syns value in the chocolate, but as its only going to be a sprinkling, i doubt it would hurt anyones syn allowance
