forgive me if this is a silly question, but i just want to be 100% sure before I go scoffing this evening. If a HUGE jar of Asda GFY bhuna cooking sauce is 7 syns and i eat a quarter of the contents of the jar does that mean i should divide the total number of syns by 4? Or is that just wishful thinking?!

I think it means per serving

feel free peeps to shoot me if I'm wrong

ie per 100g or per jar...
I got food in my belly and a license for my telly
And nothing's going to bring me down
  • Ok - iKennett - where did you get the 7 syns from?

I'm using bodyoptimise rather than the group sessions so looked at syns online and found:

    Asda
Good for You, Bhuna Cooking Sauce, jar, 570g jar 7 syns (red and Green)

If really IS 7 syns for the whole jar, then where has this product been all my life?!?! :rotfl:
  • Well, that looks fine then :D 1/4 of the jar is 1/4 of the syns ie I would count as 2 syns.

    hope it is delicious :D

I've had it before and its blooming lovely, would deffo recommend it if you fancy a nice curry thats not too spicy! Being on EE my plan is to have 1/4 of the jar with plenty of chicken and mushrooms, some batchelors savoury rice and some slimming world chips! yum yum

Just signed up to a group this morning:j and have a couple of questions:

    1. I am just writing out my food diary and I thought Mullerlight was free, however the listing states low fat fruit yoghurt as having syns - could anybody clarify?

    2. I hae heard people mention that they get a password from class - what is it for and is it announced during class or is it written down somewhere?

    Thanks

Mullerlight is free! Superfree infact :o yes some flavoured yoghurts do have syns but you really need to check syns online as brand syn contents can differ. Being a newbie to this forum i dont think we can disclose group passwords on here. I'd advise you to contact someone else in your group, or if thats not possible, then phone your SW consultant and ask :o its normally written on a card somewhere on disply, in my old group it was by the Slimmer of the week bowl, my SW consultant also brought it to everyones attention in our group discussion

I wasn't expecting anybody to disclose the password - just wanted to know what is was for and where I got it! :D

    Thanks for the info.
