  • AAAAAAA but Angie Veg Lady, we all waiver sometimes innit! as long as you brush yourself off tomorrow (which I know you will because you are dedicated! you will come back to it brilliantly tomorrow.
    This morning I fitted into a dress I hadnt EVER fitted into before... then I went to a film premiere ad drank a glass of red wine and ate a chocolate icecream

    :S OOOPS :S

    today aside from the wine and icecream I had:

    tea (hea milk)
    lots of fruit in jelly
    chicken salad hummus (heb)
    yogurt, banana
    couscous

    water, diet coke.

    tomorrow Im too cold and sleepy to think abotu just now.... good night all, CHINS UP, or should I say Chin up since soon I will only have 1 instead of 6 :D XXX

    Can someone please answer my question, I am confused !!!

    Some of the breakfast cereals listed as HE if you dont use as a HE they are 5syns...if you dont want one listed and want something else can you use something for 5 syns and still class them as a HE ?

    i.e. Kellogs Oat(thingies) are listed as a HE but are 51/2 syns, fairleys rusks are not listed as a HE but are 3 1/2 syns, can you have one of them as a HE instead of the kellogs cereal..

    Mmmm looks complicated hope someone can understand...

  • Bit late in the day, but thought I should own up to my day :o.

    forgive me forum members, for I have synned ...

    Excuses first though - DD ( who has a host of medical stuff wrong) was very ill last night, and I was up every 2 hours with her 12/2/4/6 .. so I have spent today being totally knackered, and not up for much.

    Extra Easy
    B cold Marions rice - toffee flavour yog with a chopped banana, fridged overnight :D, tea milk HA ... oH how the day starts so well :D

    L KFC :eek: two piece meal with chips and diet coke. (fries 7.5syns, chicken, no idea, but small cod from a chippy is 10, so say 20syns for the 2 pieces)

    D Joes sausages (free) mash and broc, gravy, (4 syns?) small glass wine (5 syns) G&T (2.5 syns)

    I make that about 40 syns and not enough B choices (maybe the oil should count towards that :rotfl:)

    shall I just put today behind me and move on? :rotfl: I haven't had a day like this for nearly a YEAR (and I used to eat KFC weekly - 3 piece, large) so all in all maybe I should shake off the guilt and go to bed, get some rest, and be :A tomorrow ...


    Regular KFC fries = 10 syns
    KFC drumstick = 5.5 red 9.5 green
    hot wings = 4 red 6.5 green
    thighs = 9 red 14.5 green

    HE's are (sadly) not just a shortcut for '6 syns of cereal type food', they have been chosen because they have the correct balance of nutrients (the main one being fibre I understand) and SW worry about this sort of thing, and this is what we pay them for :rotfl:.

    So the list needs to be stuck to.

    Of yourse, you can always choose different B's (I *never* have cereal at all for example) and then syn your rusk things ..

    so my guess of 27 (2 ckn and chips) should have been 10+5.5 +9 = 24.5

    Morning all - just off to do the school run :) - had a sneaky peak on my home scales this morning (naaaaaughty) and all looking good for a small loss this week :) - not a busy day today at all. In fact very quiet with no work and the eldest at school.

    Plan is

    brekkie: i dunno lol

    lunch: pasta, dolmio (2syns) and 7 olives (1 syn)

    dinner: quorn nuggets x 6 (3syns) sw chips and plum tomatoes

    snack: muller, mugshots, tinned pineapple
    5 syns left (sticking to 11 ish a day this week)
    milk (HEA) and hi-fi (HEB)
    1 more HEB and HEA to have so prob a jacket with some meat and low fat soft cheese......... to use them both. I need to go shopping. Might go for walk to co-op to get cheese for pasta later.....
    DFW since JAN 2009 - 2014 will be the year i finally clear debts :) Just to see which month :))))

    One adult + 4 children + dog

    Good morning all, hope you are all well.
    My plan for today is red, so

    B- hi-fi bar(HEB)
    L- something with salmon/prawns,(free) not sure yet
    D- probably a jacket pot(HEB) with beans and seeing as I have another HEA to have I will put some cheese on as well!!!

    (my first HEA is milk for my tea/coffee)

    Doesn't look too bad................

    just realised the beans will be a HEB so will have a re-think.........
  • After the excesses of yesterday :o toay I shall attempt to be more restrained ... but ... it is Friday, treat night, so I have tried to plan my treats to fit with todays plan:

    Extra Easy

    B 0% yog and strawberries and blueberries, tea (milk HA)

    L pasta with bacon, butternut squash and feta (HB), fruit or muller for pud

    D curry nite: hm pilau rice with hm lamb rogan josh and hm spicy sag aloo. hm raita in which to dip my 3 hm samosa (3 syns).

    a cocktail (4 syns) and a glass of wine (6 syns)

    If I am feeling pudding-y (whick I often don't after curry), but if I do, I shall plan a marion rice with toffee yog and banana cos that was scrummy.

    There - a treat day, 13 syns, no need to go off the rails :rotfl:
