Hi
What a relief it was to read nic2075's post, I also was at my target weight last Christmas, for one reason or another I could no longer go to class, now I'm two stone heavier, and as soon as I read your post I realised I am exactly the same found easy first time around, not this time. However, you have given me the inspiration I need so today is a new beginning, doubt I will be at target for this Christmas but I should be well on the way.
Today's WI 11.09
Hope it is less next week.
Good luck everyone.

I'm finding it difficult not to indulge in cosy winter food like chocolate biscuits and muffins with me tea or coffee. Any tips?0

Ask yourself how much it means to you to lose your excess weight. Make a list of reasons to stay on track and stick it on the biscuit tin. Promise yourself that if you stay out of the tin this time, you can have a biscuit next time......if you keep doing this, you may find that you don't indulge for days on end, lol.
If you feel that the biscuits with coffee is the only time you're tempted off track, use your syns for them. It's never a good idea to deny yourself something that you really want because it's not sustainable in the long term. That's why we have syns, so that whatever you crave (within reason) you can have.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
2lb off but i feel 5lb heavier so cant really get this tonight

i ate junk all wk
Eating junk causes bloat which makes your clothes tight but doesn't necessarily add weight. It's mainly gassy wind (sorry if that's TMI) and will go away when you start to eat healthily again.
Well done on the 2lb loss but keep a careful eye on this weeks food as it may catch up with you when you get on the scales next week.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Urgh. I'm back and I need help!
I lost weight over the summer,l was fairly pleased at losing around 10lbs (although really wanted to lose 14lbs)
On returning to uni the usual has happened - take aways twice a week, waffles and something beige coloured every other night.
I do eat fruit (apples and satsumas) but balanced out by 4 slices of buttered toast for breakfast and copious cereal bars (at almost 200cals each) for a snack it's seriously getting out of hand.
I've caught it early, I've only gained 3lbs so far, but I've only been back for a month, so 1lb a week for 52 weeks isn't going to be very good!
So, I want to try slimming world again. Wish me luck :<0 -

Looks like it will just be this way now, until I start to put on the baby weight. I am really bloated, and already have a bit more of a belly, I know they say it goes on quicker with no. 2 but seriously? This quick? Been really good on my food and exercise this week so I know I'm at least doing the best I can for me and baby atm!
I am exactly the same, really bloated around my belly which is a nightmare as thats where I carry my weight anyway - I look like I've put half my weight back on overnight even tho I've only put on 3lbs! (in the last couple of weeks). Doesn't help that there's so much give in my belly due to me having 6 babies already and being pregnant several times when I was 4st heavier than I am now!
Been really good the last couple of days and hoping I can keep it up over the weekend to salvage a STS on monday night WIMum of 7 (aged 14y to 1y)
loving SW - 5st off and counting! :j0 -

How much are the prices going up by?
I might ask OH to get me a 12 week countdown for my Xmas.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
I think they're going up about 45p?
I'm dreading WI on Tuesday! Don't feel so bloated now but did have more wine last night (though the mussels and steak were a good red day dinner)
Hope everyone's doing well. My 100% days start again on Monday as I have no way of planning today or tomorrow for the long journey home!
