    x olly[/QUOTE Thanks olly , well nine more classes at slimming world before christmas :eek::rudolf::rudolf::rudolf:, we all wrote out a christmas card to ourself saying our xmas wish and on the back we had to write a xmas song , so that everytime we go to be naughty we had to sing it to ourselfs to give us the motivation noy to keep focused on our wish .
    Iv'e put mine by the kettle so i'm reminded all the time :coffee::coffee:, have a go and see if it works :D

    well done olly and all who have lost.

    well I'm in Edinburgh for the week & have just managed to get online. My meals are ok, but too much wine and a bit of choccie creeping in so it's not looking like a good week :( No 100% days for me until Monday when I get home! I have been very good at resisting the Cadbury shop (went in to look around but bought nothing) and the offers of muffins and cakes with my free fruit tea (a skinny latte just has TOO many syns!) in Costa Coffee/Starbucks! Even turned down a pack of crisps as I knew I just didn't need them!

    ive been a silly naughty girl & scared to go tomorrow night:rolleyes:
    I don't need scales to tell me ive gained 20lbs :eek:
    I had my friend stay 5 days we went to Manchester Saturday had a cream tea, chips on way home, sat on butt all day,
    etc
    in other words I also took the 'scenic route' to weight loss this week :whistle:
    not much exercise :wall:1 power walk 1 work out on my strider
    im ashamed & I still want to eat for Britain
    c'mon give me support
    what do I do?

    Why are you feeling ashamed? You have a life, you have friends - all you have done is overeat for a few days and perhaps gained a few pounds. Go to class, hold your head high and get back on plan! You can do it!:T:T:T

    its just that i hated bein overweight i had no self esteem, i lost a bit but got out of sync this week
    so ive got the old feelings back
    it'll be a hard struggle to lose another stone for Xmas now
    i have painful emotional things going on in my life, im unhappy
    & guess its just all got on top of me

    I am sorry you are in a bad place right now, I hope it gets better for you soon! Why not take some of the pressure off your self and stop setting yourself up for a target of another stone for Christmas? Why not just tell yourself that you will LOSE WHAT YOU CAN by Christmas? That way whatever you manage to do is a success!:T

    I have had the most gorgous dinnr, its the Oriental Salmon from the extra easy book...so easy and lovely.

    I have also made a fish pie for tomorrows dinner...so I am feeling in control and have worked all mt sins and meals out that I had today, and also for tomorrow.

    My free food section is choca...so hoping to keep it up for the rest of the week.

    I have put a pic of a lovely slim lady in a gorgeous slinky dress on my fridge..its only £25 from Matalan..so I am hoping to be in a size 14 for new year!!! off in the bath and bed now, good luck to you all.
  • Hi everyone, well done all you're doing so well.


    I had a good week this week had a 3.5lb loss for week 2. 7.5lb in total. Really happy.

    I was just after some advise please. I'm due to go out on Saturday night with some girls who I don't know too well. We're going for a chinese and a few drinks. Just wondered what would be the best choice for the food (I'm following extra easy). I'm being careful with my syns so I can have a few :beer: drinkies..... but want to be careful with my food choice. I did think maybe I shouldn't go, but you've gotta have a life haven't you!!:j.

    I think they usually have a banquet but I'm going to say that I'll order my own meal as I'm on SW - hope they don't think I'm a misery doing that, it's just I don't want to go off track... and you've got to think about yourself on these occasions haven't you??

    I made the chicken kiev in the free book with last months mag for tea last night it was delicious and tonight did the coq au vin - out of one of the mags either last month or this - everyone loved it - kids polished it off a treat and hubby said it was beautiful. Going to try the lamb hotpot I think tomorrow.
