I am so excited , I just spent time in the kitchen trying to make a low syn cake. And I came up with this .....
COCO CAKES.
Beat one egg. And mix in 200g of coco pops.
Then press the mixture into 6 cup cases. ( I used my silicone bake tray, so they cant stick) Then pop them in the oven for 10 mins.
omg , they came out lovely , crispie on the top and a cake texture underneath. I am trying to work out how many sys they are each ,
on the box of coco pops it says they are 387kcal per 100g.
I used 57g (2oz) = 220 CALORIES.
I think they work out just slightly over 1 syn per cake. Can someone please confirm .Kindness costs nothing0 -

Hey Skintit was 29 cals per 100g - but I don't know any other nutritional info as the pot is at the bottom of the bin - thanks for looking though - I appreciate it x - ooh btw I also recommend it - it was REALLY tasty
Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

This is the basic way I make frittata:-
6 large eggs
2lbs white onions
Fresh tomatoes (as many as you like)
Salt & Pepper
Grated cheese (as Healthy Extra A)
Other veg or meat as desired (see below)
Finely slice the onions
Finely chop the tomatoes
Fry these down very slowly (using fry light) so it reduces down and the onions become translucent
Remove from the frying pan and drain away excess juices.
Beat the eggs and add salt + pepper to taste.
Add grated cheese to egg (optional sins or HE - worth it!)
Pour onion/tomato mix into eggs and add whatever else you want
(eg: - free veg - cooked peppers, mushrooms, baby courgettes, fresh herbs.
OR: on green: cooked frozen peas, broad beans, sweetcorn etc.
OR: on red: diced cooked bacon or chicken etc.)
Spray fry light in pan and fry mixture very gently like an omelette, finishing off under a hot grill until set. Should take about 10-15 minutes.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
