Ooh please do eat your lunch in front of her, all the while saying that you are on a diet as well, and this is all free food with SW.

The sort of diet where you miss meals is completely counter-productive, since her body will think it is going to starve and will therefore, hang on to every calorie she does consume. Her metabolism will get messed up thus making it harder to lose weight altogether.

Be a very good friend and lead her to SW where she can eat loads and still lose weight.

My friend did come & although I offered her SW soup when she said it smelt delish, she told me she had her lunch with her. She's been to SW before so she knows what it's about.....she then proceeded to tell me that her 'diet' included a LOAD of sausages eaten the night before, but that she was 'giving up bread & potatoes'. Her lunch was - she had 2 hardboiled eggs she peeled in the kitchen & ate them straight down! Meanwhile I sat & had my lovely soup in front of her, I could hear her stomach rumbling but she insisted she wasn't hungry & had had half an apple on the drive over! Also offered fruit but she declined that as well, so I gave up. ho hum I give her diet about a week.

Anyhow, have stuck to mine 100%, I think I still have a B but not sure what the choices are, are they mainly cereal & bread?? I gave another friend who came over this afternoon my EE book so I don't have it to hand, could have a convert there though :rotfl:

Good luck to all fellow 100%-ers - it MUST be working as BOTH friends commented on how slim I looked (liars, I'd only been 100% for a few hours :rotfl:) Must be some clever dressing, is all I can think lol

Flutterby- Yes they are just tofu, no fish! I use smoked tofu to give a slight fish flavour, and crumble whole block into some mashed potato, mix together and re-mash if you want a smooth consistency (I don;t bother.) I then add a bit of soy sauce and some mixed herbs then make up a small bowl of plain cous cous but not much water so it is quite dry, spread it out on a plate and roll mash mixture into balls and coat in cous cous. I've found that the smaller ones stay together better. I cook them either bake in oven (240 d for about 25 mins or until brown, turn once) or fry with fry light or olive oil (HEB) They freeze well too so perfect to keep. I LOVE them, I'm so addicted to them, as they feel naughty but aren't!

    Thanks for congrats everyone! :)

Yay! Mummy Dumpling, we are bump buddies! No my weight loss has slowed right down now :( I lost 2.5 stone V quickly but have only lost 3 in the last few weeks, not that thats bad but just need to get used to the fact that it will slow right down now! ha ha! Plus I can hardly eat anything at the min as my morning sickness is bad, but hey ho- it's what we sign up for when we make these decisions! :D

Consultant- Thank you :D I can't even blame DD for my weight gain, I was big before I had her, only gained 1.5 stone while pregnant and lost it straight away after having her. I'm hoping to keep just as active during this pregnancy but we'll see how that goes! :D

sashanut - if you're on EE your HEb's are cereal, bread, cheese, nuts, cooked/tinned fruit & soup.

Well I'm at the end of my day and I still have a HEb and 2 x HEa's for me to use (oh and 10 syns technically though I'm trying to save them for the weekend if I can!). Decisions decisions!

In case anyone likes Muller Corners and can't have them because of the syns, my Mum picked up some Asda 'split pot' yoghurts on offer 6 for 99p (in a pack) I think, and I've just found out they're free!
I'm actually wondering if you can use the fruity bit as free jam ;) :rotfl:

OMG! If I had known that I would have been having them! I love the Muller corners and havn't had one for years! What is the jam made of do you know?

I have been good today and have managed to stay 100% - but the day isn't over yet so I am not going to be too complacent! I had my breakfast rice this morning with banana and banana custard mullerlight. Then I had a pear and an apple midday and had a huge bowl of homemade leek and potato soup for lunch. Afternoon coffee I had with 3 fig newtons biscuits for my syns and tonight for dinner I made a quickie pasta bake with a batchelers pasta and added my homemade meatballs - SW style of course plus green beans and brussels. Milk was my HA and I havn't had a B choice yet, will probably have some cereal mixed with a muller tonight before bed.

Went to the gym today and part of the GP referral thing and managed a solid 15 minutes on the treadmill and 15 minutes on the arm bike. Might not sound like much but it is good for me - arthritis seems to be quite a bit better since my reflexology session last week, and I am sleeping better too!

    Love

Heya all, I used to do this down south but had to stop as my times and eatijg habits were soerratic. When I did stick to it I lost weight so I need the motivation and willpower to do it! Want to lose a stone and a half at least :) Not going to the meetings as they donmt fit in with my work so going to be DIY at home, I have the books and stuff from when I was a previous member :) My only downfall is I am rubbish at inventing my own recipes so any help with that would be well appreciated :D

Thanks for posting this! I don't like smoked tofu, but will give it a go with the plain version soon :D

  • woohoo 100% on plan today :D

    Red day

brekkie - porridge, semi skim milk, sweetner, raspberries & 1 scan bran, 1 tsp honey (HEB, HEA, 1 syn) satsuma
lunch - egg, bacon, morrisons free sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, ketchup (2 syns) mullerlight
tea - grilled chicken kebab, salad, small slice of birthday cake (10 syns?)
    milk for drinks (HEA)

still have 1 HEB and 1 HEA left (I'm still breastfeeding so get an extra HEA!) - might have a bowl of cereal or 2 alpen lights and a milky drink (should have made some sw chips to go with my kebab cos I'm not really hungry now but still have to use my HEs)
    Mum of 7 (aged 14y to 1y)
loving SW - 5st off and counting! :j
