  • I have had a look for you and although there is a two page spread advertising the online bodyoptimise there is no special offer or code offered. They do however stress that the cost is just 66p a day - less than a bottole of cola at lunchtime!

    Thanks Marion

I might start going to classes again then for now - At least that way it's only a tenner to get access rather than £60 right now...

Grrr! STS this week, but it's star week for me, so hoping that was why. I had been really good food wise, but not great exercise wise so that hasn't helped no doubt. I have been getting a bit fed up the last couple of weeks, and really want to syn properly! :D

I normally use my syns for boring things, like extra hoummus if I've used my B options for breakfast, or some nuts/ seeds if I fancy a snack. I sometimes have a chow mein (wholewheat noodles, low fat), though I generally just use my syns for things you can have as healthy extras but have to syn because I've already had 2 iyswim. I do occasionally have 2 bourbons in the eve, but that is about it. As I am vegan I find it hard to find treats that a) I can eat, and b) are low syns or lowish! :)

I feel like I need a real treat to keep me on the straight and narrow of SW, and veganism, as I'm on the verge of sodding it all and eating a cheese filled pizza, and a mahoosive chocolate gateaux! ha ha! Can you tell it's my star week. :D

Gah! I've had a rotten week and had far too many syns :( I'm going through a stressful time at work and when I'm anxious my appetite goes out the window until I'm so fed up that I reach for the chocolate, sigh.

Despite exercising every day I've gained 1lb because of the crap I've been eating for most of the week.

I'm back on track today though and had a good hearty breakfast - quorn sausages, fried eggs (in fry light) and SW chips. I've also had 3 pecan nuts as a healthy extra b

Later on I'm going to have a veg stir fry for a late lunch, loads of fruit and fat free yoghurt and then for tea a lasagne that's sitting in the fridge. I followed the recipe in the EE cookbook.

I'm determined to have a better week and not let my emotions get in the way of my weight loss. I want to lose at least 1lb this week.

How to other people deal with stressful times?

Oh, starting to hate this now. Been really careful saving my syns for this weekend (I've had a LOT friday and Saturday nights) and of course (naughtily) weighing myself I've lost sod all again this week. So I'm going to have barely anything to eat for the next 2 days (I've got a fridge full of fruit I guess) so that I lose anything on Tuesday.
I know I shouldn't go so mad on a weekend and spread out syns etc through the week but I don't see my OH from Mon - Fri so I spoil him and go a bit mad myself when he comes home (except it's our 3 year 'anniversary' today and he's having to leave today instead of tomorrow to get to Inverness tonight :(:(:( )
I've been doing 30mins on the cross trainer every day except yesterday (5 hours of walking round the NEC Wedding Show) but it seems to be having no impact whatsoever :(
Sorry, just fed up with being out of work and having a moan!
Liz3y - I've always been a 'comfort' eater when down, lonely, cold - any reason really! It helps that I don't have anything too naughty in the house (and no money to buy anything naughty) but I make sure things like Hi-Fi bars are in the cupboard, sugar-free jelly is made up, laughing cow is there to hand - anything I can grab and stuff in my mouth without doing too much damage! I seem to be getting better at it, but time will tell if I go back to bad habits.

I am so sorry fannyannie, take care of yourself. I had a miscarriage over 30 years ago and it is something that really takes it out of you - both physically and emotionally. Sending you group hugs and comfort :grouphug: .
