i joined sw last week and i had my first weigh in last night and i only lost a pound i was devastated as i thought i'd done well and i had done some exercise and i had done a 10k run on sunday for marie curie and that didn't seem to have an impact. I think i'll have to read through the books properly and organise my meals in advance. Is there anywhere i can get some recipes?

    Thanks Clare:o

clare - if you get the password from your consultant there are receipes on the website plus loads in the magazine (cheaper from your consultant than in the shops).

If there's anything specific you want then usually asking on here helps as one of us will have a SW version of pretty much anything.

frankie - sorry you're finding it hard. SW is one of the easiest and most flexible healthy eating plans out there - it'ws so good you are able to do it for life. If you need any help - just ask.

    C xx

Well I scraped 0.5lbs off tonight (no idea how) to get 7lbs off in two weeks!

I had one of those weeks last week where I just had to eat - and eat I did (non-sw stuff ) This week I hope that I can stick with it!

Soup sounds good olly - I love my soup lunches in winter!

  • I lost 1 1/2lbs when I got weighed tonight. Was surprised that I lost, expected to put on. As like Skint_Catt, the majority of the time, I ate non sw food. The 2 previous weeks, I was the same weight.

Hi just noticed you live in sunny Ayrshire, was wondering if you go to the same class as me, Station Hotel In Ayr? You can pm me if you prefer.

btw to curb my sweet tooth i have merangue nest, natural yog and fruit with sprinkling of sweetener, or I save some syns for the Weight watchers cake bars, the carrot cake ones are to die for and are 2 1/2 syns or the choc brownie ones are 3 syns YUM
