Some brilliant losses - well done everyone:beer: !!!

I've been trying to track down the new WW brown danish bread - has anyone seen it anywhere? I love my bread and you can have 3 slices for a HEb!

    Hi there

I have same problem. Can only get it in Asda (which is not close to us), and 1 of the Morrisons, again not my local shop. When I find them I usually get in 3 or 4 for freezer.

WOW 39.5 lbs in a year is brilliant - does the theory work - you 'should' have lost 3 dress sizes since starting - is that right?????

    Thankyou!

I am really not sure how many dress sizes I have lost, I know all my clothes are way too big for me now! But I can't afford to buy any new ones. I know for fact though that the size 22 jeans I wore before I started SW fall off me now! I didn't measure myself either when I started, but by how belt holes I have gone down I think I have lost about 4 - 6 inches. Is that alot?

B = 27g Oats so simple (HEB), milk from 250ml semi (HEA)
L = left over Asda Chickpea Dahl and rice (FREE), muller light
D = SF Chips, egg, beans, 2 x Quorn Southern Fried Chicken Burgers (2.5 each so 5 syns), cadburys hi-light chocolate mousse (very chocolatey only 3.5 syns)
Snacks = plum, strawberries, pomegranate, raspberries

    Total syns = 8.5

2 inches is a full dress size so 6 inches would be 3 dress sizes :) so you are about a 16-18 now :) shame as i would send you some of mine as i grow out them except your smaller than me :)

Should definitely set up a clothes exchange on here :) - rather than give to charity - we can send/pick up from each other :)
DFW since JAN 2009 - 2014 will be the year i finally clear debts :) Just to see which month :))))

  • o ps - the quorn nuggets are on special in tesco for £1 a pack and are only 1/2syn each on red and green and they are really lovely - just think nuggets and chips (sw) for about 3 syns (that is 6 nuggets) mmmmmmmmm and cheap too (50p 1/2 pack nuggets and 25p ish for chips as potatoes a £1 pack too in tesco - 75p for nuggets and chips that are like £2.00 from macd's)

I threw all my skinny clothes (16/18) out before I decided to join SW again because I thought I would never lose the weight. I wish I hadn't now!

Working on the age old premise that 10lb is 1 dress size

Hmm, not convinced on that theory. I think it would depend on starting size and body shape.

I've lost 52lb and started at a size 24/26. I'm now down to a 20 jeans (which is a bit loose!) – possibly smaller top half. Down from 42D to 40C bra.
I'm still wearing some of my old clothes if they have drawstrings, elastics etc. but I haven't been out and tried loads of clothes on to see what size I can get into. I don't want to buy nice clothes now as I don't want to stay this size.

Most people seem to judge their loss by waist size - I had a relatively small (in proportion to the rest of my body) waist to start with!

What I have noticed is a reduction in size of my WHOLE body - literally the top of my head to the tips of my toes. My toes and feet are thinner, my face and neck, fingers, arms - well, everything! I didn't measure before I started, but jewellery is looser and sleeves on clothes. My whole body has gone soft - not saggy and stretch-marky though. I've got much more of a figure than I did. (and my feet don't ache when I go shopping like they used to!)

Looking at family history and such, I can never see myself being 'thin' - no-one in either of my parents families are. Going by body frame and structure, there is surely no specific weight or size everyone can be.

When setting a target weight or size, it's difficult. I would like to lose lots of weight, but realistically what size that would take me to, I don't know.

As for the whole muscle thing, just think what gorgeous figures you girls will have!

Keep up the good work - the results coming up on here are fantastic. The plan works if you stick to it and believe in it. I still have to pinch myself at times when I get on the scales – I honestly never saw myself getting down in weight. I’m getting my confidence back and it is changing my life!

I've got weigh in tonight and I'm really hoping for a loss but not sure. We've all been ill in our house this week and still feeling awful. Some kind of dysentery bug I think !! I also had to have my dalmation put to sleep yesterday so I don't think that has helped my belly :(
I have eaten very little compared to normal and only managed a piece of toast so far today :(

Thank you, need to go work out how many syns I have had today and get some olives, yum.

Well done to all those who have lost this week, I only joined last week so get my first prper weigh in tomorrow.
Today I have had egg and SW free chips(yum), and a jacket potato stuffed with laughing cow light and spring onions(more yum), I am stuffed, and can't see how I could have lost anything???? But you never know....I would love to think 7lb in my first week, but a weekend down the caravan last week may have put a stop to that!!!!

Hi! You sound exactly like me! I had my first WI yesterday & went there thinking theres no way i will have lost anything as i`ve been stuffed all week!! got on the scales & i`d lost 7lb!! they do say you probably loose the most your first week so i`ll be happy with 2 or 3lb next week! let us know how you get on at WI today! x
