  • Mina - just saw your sig
Just reached my mini-target - got my BMI down to 25.0!! Need another target now... ummm?!?
    :T :T

After I got to 25 I aimed for 22.5 as I figured this was the ideal average :rotfl:

But you might want to think about your final target weight now - or dress size ... how exciting :T

Thanks Angie, I was well chuffed :j :T I like your logic, the middle ground is a comfy place to be :D Picking a dess size is tempting but different shops vary so much that's tricky. I think I should set a final target now though ... kinda scary!!

Well done everyone, some great losses there.

Been to weigh in and have lost 1/2 pound. I am happy with that as I was at a wedding do at the weekend plus it was Mothers Day.

    1. Cook a SW meal you have NEVER had before!
Will try the baked bean lasagne.
    2. Do 15 mins EXTRA exercise in addition to what you normally do!
I walk a lot anyway so will try some sit ups and push ups.

    3. Buy and eat a piece of fruit you have not had for ages!

Usually just have bananas and pears but will try satsumas.
    4. Add your own personal target for the week here.

    Will go for 2lb.

Thanks for the advive regarding the fruit, unfortunately, I don't like yoghurt either!!
I think I will get some tangerines, I quite like them, sometimes!!!OOOOHH, I like melon, and strawberries........(Don't buy them very often-prices and the fact they go off when I don't eat them!!!)

I have a quick question about olives in brine, I can't find them in the book and don't know how to count them on a green or red day, any advice please, cause I love them!!!

    Hey all

I re-joined SW this week (previously lost 2 stone on it 18months ago). I had put on 7pounds since last time I was a SW member, so not too bad.

I'm veggie so am doing all green days.

I have a few questions for you guys if thats ok?

    - I have changed jobs since doing SW last time, and I'm finding it hard to take a good SW lunch with me to work. I'm a sort of youth worker, and sometimes I'm office based, something I'm eating lunch in a moving minibus, sometimes we take the minibus to a local town and kids grab lunch and we eat in a park or similar. I often don't know the day before where I'm likely to be at lunch. So I can't really take food to microwave (like I did in my old job), Things like pasta/rice salad are ok if we eating in a park but not really for moving minibus! Also I don't really have access to a fridge to store my lunch in, so worry things might turn in heat (especially in a minibus in the summer!). So any easy suggestions??

    Thanks in advance.

    Lunches can be tricky.
I always do green & some of my favs are sammys mug cous cous, just add boiling water, guess u could have a flask of hot water & add the cous cous to that?
Cook a savory rice the night before & eat that cold? I usually ping it tho.
Salad with quorn sasuages chopped up in it & small potatoes.
Pot of pineapple cottage cheese with ryvita (or any free cottage chees, just that i love pineapple!!!)
Mug shot, similar principle to the couscous

Hope some of this helps, its much easier with a kettle or a microwave!

Thank you, need to go work out how many syns I have had today and get some olives, yum.

Well done to all those who have lost this week, I only joined last week so get my first prper weigh in tomorrow.
Today I have had egg and SW free chips(yum), and a jacket potato stuffed with laughing cow light and spring onions(more yum), I am stuffed, and can't see how I could have lost anything???? But you never know....I would love to think 7lb in my first week, but a weekend down the caravan last week may have put a stop to that!!!!

Im thinking of joining sw, the main thing putting me off is cost as Im so skint. Can someone explain the main principles? Another thing is that I do a fair bit of exercise and worry that I wont lose as many lbs as muscle weighs more then fat, am I being silly?
