Aghh I put on half a pound!!! So thats 1 and a half in a the last two weeks!! And this week I am at a wedding so not looking good already!!
I am gutted, as feel lighter, and have been really good, I have not gone over my sins at all, been on my running machine like a little fat hampster too!!!
........all I can think it is is that I have eaten out three times...had a carvery and also jacket pot and tuna (2 x), so maybe extra hidden butter in veg, and more mayo than I thought...........so packed lunches for me all week this week.
ps..I just had my hair cut tonight so maybe lost a pound already..fingers crossed!!0 -
Well, at my first weigh in this evening I lost 1 1/2 lbs. I'm okay with that. If I could aim to lose a pound a week that'd be great. We had a few SW goodies to taste at group, there was one which was a Scan Bran chocolate cake, made in the microwave... it was DELISH!!! I didn't get the chance to ask for the recipe, so if anyone knows it I'd be very grateful ;-)0

If you have been running a fair bit, you may have turned some fat to muscle which weighs more. I have weeks where I know I've changed shape but my weight loss has been comparitively small. It is usually the weeks where I have done a lot of exercise.
Also on a side note- I ask the carver to do me a portion of veg freshly steamed with no butter! They were actually the ones who told me I could do it as I was asking what has butter in etc (I said I had an allergy but actually I'm vegan, usually goes down a bit better IMO.)
I can't taste any difference esp once the gravy is on0 -

Well done every one on your weight loss.....I have sulked all evening and now have decided this week needs to make up for the last two...regardless of the wedding. So.... I shall be getting up 45 mins earlier every day, doing 15 mins exersise, making sure I have breakfast before I leave the house and taking a packed lunch with me. I am not going to be fat and fed up this xmas.0

Thanks peachy, you're so good at keeping us all motivated!!
Well today, after trying it at the ruby party last night, i made a lemon cous cous cake! And im very impressed, nice texture & taste, just had a wedge with a cuppa, very happy!
There are lots of different versions on the internet, i just used cooked couscous, 4oz, 2 eggs, sweetner, lemon juice & i wanted to use lemon curd but aldi didnt have any & i didnt have time to pop to asda so i improvised & used lemon marmalade! Mix it all up, pop it in a microwavable bowl & i did it for about 8 mins.
Yummy & about 4 syns for the whole thing! nom nom nom!0 -

Using couscous as a flour substitute (as in making a cake) constitutes misuse of free food, sorry
You have to count the couscous as 5 syns per 28gms. The marmalade will be ½ syn for 1 level teaspoon too.
It's ok to have this occasionally but the problems begin when, thinking it's almost free, you start to eat a whole one daily.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
