fernliebee wrote: »Wow! I've never been able to put my finger on it exactly, but yes!! I used to feel really really motivated in Sept as at uni or school and it was like a fresh start, but the last few years I have felt, not down, but not myself. Very dis-motivated and lazy in a sense. Everything feels like a struggle, even simple tasks. Then I get into the swing of winter and then comes spring, I feel like I've been caught on the hop. Don't have the right clothes for the season (I hate short sleeves etc due to carrying extra weight.) and always feel as if I should have done something about the weight over winter so I could be 'happy' in the summer. I'm hoping this year will be different. I will be smaller (if I can maintain my weight loss, and hopefully lose a bit more,) and if I reach my target size of a straight 14 (ie not trousers with a stretch in, proper jeans with no give iyswim) I'm a 14/16 atm, then I will have a fab new wardrobe! ha ha! Dreamy time!
Does everyone feel as though once their extra weight has been lost, they will miraculously have shed load's of money to buy all the clothes they have ever wanted, or is it just me? ha ha!
Fern, i am exactly the same, i have always emerged from winter feeling there was things i should have got done but didnt. I really cant even explain this change of season mood its always totally baffled me but i'm glad its not just me.
When i lose enough weight to be able to buy clothes that i like and not just that will fit, i'm sure there will be a huge windfall of some kind to pay for them haha :rotfl:
Weigh in for me tonight so heres hoping i have done everything right and lost a bit more .

Marion, think of it as a 8 pound loss over 2 weeks which is still fanstatic!
WI tonight, im hoping for a STS but im expecting a little gain. Planned my weeks food & am going to stick to it a close as possible! Some many things seem to have been popping up recently causing me to go off plan tho!
Good luck to everyone with WI!0 -
Marion I agree with Peachy and Princess Kate, its still a fantastic loss over 2 weeks. Keep drinking those fluids and sticking to plan and it will even off over the next couple of weeks, hopefully youll be losing 1-2 lbs a week
I just had 2 go ahead crispy fruit slices (summer fruits) they were yummy and I thought they would be 1-2 syns each but just read online and they are 3 syns per slice! They were quite yummy though. Thankfully I hadnt factored anymore than 3 syns into my plan today. i think ill give the rest to the kids. I really should check online before stuffing things in my mouth.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Iv just made falafels from the SW website for our ruby party tonight. They have turned out really yummy, very easy to make & free on green or extra easy. I usually buy cauldron ones but they are 1 syn each & it adds up when you're having a few. Think i'll be making these in the future!
Iv also made a kind of eton mess, quark with sweetener & vanilla essence, 3 mashed up meringue nests & fresh fruit (pineapple, mango & kewi), tastes yummy but looks a mess, tho maybe thats the point......not 100% i wanna take that but havent really got time to make anything else.0 -
I also LOVE the Cauldron ones but I usually have 5 in a meal (tom sauce and cous cous), and they add up. How do the homemade ones compare? I considered making them, but its only me who likes them so theyd have to be good.Princess_kate wrote: »Iv just made falafels from the SW website for our ruby party tonight.
