Ive not been very good over the last 2 weeks and feel very heavy, i need to get focussed. Im not sure if ive been doing SW too long and need to try something else. I know SW works but ive got too lazy, i get very bored at tea time, especially with my oh working away at the moment.
Ive tried just eating healthy and sticking to the outlines of SW and I dont think ive put on as much weight as I would of if id ignored everything ive learned. Does anyone have any tips on how to get into it properly again? I started last March (08) lost almost 3 st but have put 2 st back on, im struggling at almost 12st for months now.
I find it difficult to do any excercise apart from walking to and from nursery. I hate doing excercise dvds in the house (maybe ill buy a new one and try it), i dont have a cross trainer or anything, id probably spend 10 mins on that if i had one (may try Freegle)
Ive basicaly got into a lazy rut, I feel fat and ugly. Iv e spent loads of time over the last month at hen weekends and 2 weddings, with loads of beautiful skinny people, I really want to get back down to a 12 again and feel toned. But the more I think im going to give it ago, the more I sabotage it all.

If youve felt like this, what made you get focussed again?
    tia
Hi tia , don't be so hard on yourself :grouphug::grouphug:, we all have been like you lately , theres times when we all feel , stuff it , why should i not eat & drink what i want , i'm sick off being on a diet .

But then come the summer & going out , holiday , we dread them , get ourselfs worked up , because we don't look or feel we look right in what we wear ,so we turn to , chocolate, drink , cakes for comfort and then feel even more down on ourselfs , because it only made you feel good for that night or moment you were eatting it .
We all have to decide why we are slimming , is it for you or a partner or to just fit into what people thinks the right size and shape :mad:to be accepted .
If its the last two your putting to much of a presure on yourself before you start , iv'e done this in the past ( what for ) thinking my hubby won't fancy me because my weights gone back on , can't go out with my mates iv'e not seen in a while , because my weight gone on and there judge me , so iv'e made up reasons not to go out with them and got even more down on myself ( hit the choc, wine , crips , take aways) its all a vicious circle .
TIA , you have to decide why you wan't to do this hun and it has to be for you , thats what iv'e done, stuff everyone else and what they think , i've had to give myself a big big kick up the ar-- and say YOU ARE GONNA DO IT THIS TIME and stop this mindset that makes me unhappy and stops me enjoying my life to the full .
Well i'm now back at class and i'm not putting to much presure on myself , there will be weeks when i don't lose and weeks when i stay the same , but i will get there , I'M DOING IT FOR ME :T:jAND HUN YOU CAN TOO .
So please get your books out go back to basics , write everything down , plan your shopping , your meals , stick lables on your syned food so you know straight away what syns you've had & put it on your food diary straight away & i keep saying hit the water big time or quash .
Come on here and give idears , recipey , let us know how your doing , join in , and together we can all do it , for us :D

ollyred , on green day use quorn sausages and any syn free coucous , on e/e its free using morrision free sausages fresh not frozen , and plain coucous so you don't have to worry about syns as you can eat quorn or meat on e/e & coucous is free on it to

Thanks Peachy I rarely go to Morrisons but I did yesterday and couldn't remember if it was the fresh or frozen sausages that were free-ish, couldn't find frozen so grabbed some fresh and hey presto I can eat them!!

By the way, while I'm here (which I often am but I just guiltily lurk and read all the advice) does anyone else, like me, get mentally confused between fat free and vegetarian???? It may well be just me; I grab something like Asda's meat free meatballs and persuade myself they must be FAT free *slaps self*
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

But don't worry thats what your syns are for , just encaes you buy something and when you check has syns ,
i always check and write down on the item syns on red & green on it , if your not sure come on and ask if anyone can check and someone will alawys get back to you :D

No, the bangers, surprisingly succulent sausages & the cumberland are still on mysupermarket.co.uk  and the first and the last are on tesco.com

Do you have a sainsbury or asda near you? tesco may have sold out for the moment

Had a horrendous weekend after a really good week so now dreading weigh-in on Tuesday :( Got to hit the water and neutral-ish foods (got no money to buy more speed foods)
  • Hi everyone, hope the weight loss is going great!!

I've got a massive dilemma, hope someone can help. For the Ruby party tomorrow at group, I am going to make the carrot cake from the "Best Ever" recipe book, I wrote it down a few weeks ago (i posted here cos I thought I lost it but found it and made it) and it was amazing!! So, I wanted to try it again and share it with everyone, but this time I have definately lost the piece of paper with it on!

Has anyone got the Best Ever book and can they write it on here for me please???? Ive tried to ask my consultant to text it to me but I havent heard anything from her, and i really need to make it tonight.

    Thanks in advance xx :o
You're so very special, I wish I was special
