Well I was the last and the seem too be the first.
I'm feeling a little uneasy with myself today after last night I know i had syns to use but what i put in my last comment will be my undoing, but whats done is done must move on.
Planning to have Omlette for breakfast, ham salad for lunch with carrot, radishes cucumber and beetroot for snacks plus an apple and a shaper free yoghurt and for tea i'm not sure fancy making a mag/website recipe curry, will have a think. Oh plus i have a little pot of boiled rice (left over from last nights tea).
Other than that all is ok, glad its the weekend tomorrow though!1vs 100 £505500/335.25 (5.5K COMING DOWN)20.00/10,000(10K GOING UP)Not long now0 -
oh ye, I have a question: is fromais frais the same as quark or are they different, if so what do you use quark for? A bit confused! Can they be used the same way?1vs 100 £505500/335.25 (5.5K COMING DOWN)20.00/10,000(10K GOING UP)Not long now0

I have no idea what quark is either! Ive got two recipes from my SW magazines that I intend to make and have bought quark because both recipes contain it. One is sherry trifle - you mix 250g pot quark with 255g low fat fromage frais and 1 tbs artificial sweetener and put this on top instead of cream.
The other is Carrot cake squares and again, the quark is used for the topping with zest of an orange and artificial sweetener. I presume quark must taste creamy?0 -
Quark is Very low fat cheese and is counted as free (?) on green and red.

I missed up the first batch by not cooking coucous first :wall::doh:,
they were a bit hard on the outside , still eatable .
Made secorned batch and they were fab , cooked couscou first , had one this morning for breakfast , with 2 eggs on wholemeal toast0 -
consultant31 wrote: »This is the way I do them.. Hard-boil the eggs. Take skin off syn-free sausages flatten out the sausage meat and wrap around the egg. Roll in couscous and bake in a preheated oven at 180 for about 30 mins.
For veggie scotch eggs, hard-boil the eggs. Make up a packet of Smash and leave to cool. When cold, cover the egg with Smash, roll in couscous and bake as before (I love these).0
