    Thanks peachy - I'm going back to my old consultant (who's only in it for herself) but I know SW works (been there enough times!) Want 6 stone gone by 18th June next year and if it's not now it's not ever! No idea how I'm going to live without pasta or rice though!
    Of course I'll be here to help again as I was before!

    catt get the slow cooker out , start doing stews , soups , casseroles , you can take these to work in a flask , curry ect .
    Catt your get there , don't worry about consultant , just take from the class what you need to get you focussed after all your paying for it .

    Lol, not working at the mo ( :( ) so not too bad work-wise but yes was trying to think of something tasty to do int he SC I could grab for lunches. The last beef curry I did in the SC wasn't great and my casseroles are all a bit tasteless too in it. Anyway, I have plenty of time this week to work it out - got gammon planned with free veggies & no pots, omelettes & stirfry's with chicken. OH away for a few days so not too bad if I have to live on sone strange meals too (trying to use up the freezer as money's tight but most of it's green based! lol

    ps - gonna have those pesky sausages tonight so I don't have to count them ;) with loads of mash to get my carb intake before the big withdrawl!

    I have just been on the sw site and looked at the recipes ,
    I have found a "spicy apple cake" recipe but it contradicts itself .

    It says , cut into 8 portions.

  • Well I have been to class today and got weighed. I am absolutely gobsmacked to tell you all I lost an astounding 10 lbs in the last 2 weeks!:j:j:j:j:j:j

    I really can't believe it, it has been so long since I lost - just checked my book - I had gained every week for 6 weeks!:o:o Then I missed a week and went back today - and WOW! The only thing that I have been doing as far as I know is eating more vegetables and have been visualising being thin just before I go to sleep - the power of positive thinking and all that!:T

    Any way I have pledged to try for 2 lbs next week so will keep you all posted. Will try and participate more on here as well!

    I think affirmations are so important for weight loss ,
    I found a great one on youtube that I watch,
    basically you repeat it to yourself everyday :D.

    Can I ask, does everyone here go to a SW class? I did SW about a year ago but got fed up with the classes (and I tried a few in the area). I really want to lose weight and wonder if anyone does SW and just gets support from this forum? I've bought the latest magazine and am a bit confused by the extra easy thing but I really want to give it a try.
