Right, I'm setting myself the challenge then to shift the weight once and for all. I have slightly high blood pressure and my dear Dad recently died from a heart attack so I don't need any more motivation.

    Wish me luck everyone :)

Oh my goodness I'm so sorry for your loss.

Things like that tend to make us re-evaluate things don't they?

    Good Luck Liz3yy.

Thank you, he passed away in late June just a week after his birthday, he was only 62 :(

I really miss him even though we didn't see each other very often. I was very close to Dad being an only child and really looked up to him.

I want to better myself as a tribute to Dad, to show him I care enough about him to look after myself....if that makes sense?

Where is the best/cheapest place to get silken tofu? I've just gone dairy free and still trying to get my head around making low syns stuff minus the milk/cheese etc.

I get mine from sainsbury and it isn't too expensive. I've been vegan for just over a year now but i've been veggie all my life, and my mum had been vegan all my life so know quite a few recipes and ideas. It is even easier to stay low syns without dairy! Like I say feel free to ask me anything you want a hand with.

I'm really chuffed with myself! I've been a size 18 bottoms for years now, and I am currently sitting here in a pair of size 14 jeans! :D I knew my trousers were getting big, but didn't realise quite how big! I still have 2 stone I want to lose so hopefully I'll be in a smaller size by xmas! :) I am 5'7 so I never imagined I would get down to a 14 never mind any smaller! Thanks for everyones support so far, you've kept me on track as I don't go to a class.
  • wow well done fernliebee :D you must be feeling fantastic - and even more impressive as you're doing it alone!

I've gone down from a size 24 to a size 18 and feel so much better for it - want to be in a size 16 before xmas. I'm 5'8" and for a long time never believed that a size 16 would be within my grasp. I have a size 16 dress hanging on my wardrobe door and that is my next goal.
