Hello, I joined slimming world early July for the 6 week course.
I was very impressed and lost 7lb.
I went on holiday for 2 weeks at the end of August and havent been since. I've tried doing it myself at home but haven't lost anymore weight.
I did Extra Easy.
Are people allowed to give the slimming world passwords on here, I think their site is great.
Thankyou so much xx0 -
I lost 5 lbs today! Yay! That takes my total loss to 2 stone in 6 weeks!
I am a very happy girly! I have gone down a dress size and a bit, and I'm hoping to lose 2 stone more. I would like to say by christmas but being realistic my loss should slow down soon so will say by easter instead!
I was worried that doing it on my own would make me complacent but I've been really strict with myself, and I'm still writing down everything I eat (I've made a word doc and just fill it in each day when I check my e-mails etc)
I can't believe how much I have lost though, Islimming world! I'm also converting people as they keep asking me how I have lost weight so quickly.

Liz3yy chin up love, ups and downs are something we can't do anything about
, we just start tomorrow afresh and hope for the best. I'm pretty sure everyone has the same problem at some point. Just dont be so harsh on yourself. I have learned the hard way that if i am hard on myself i punish myself by giving up
. we can all help to keep each other on the straight and narrow:j and good luck for the rest of the weekend to everyone. xx olly

Aw! Thanks! I only do green days and I mainly try and stay free and H extras in the daytime and save my points for the evening if I feel like something naughty, or if not then I save them up for the weekend and then have a chow mein from the chinese, or some other treat. To that end I have fruit for brekky, and drink 2 pints of water, I wait until I actually feel hungry though as I'm trying to re-learn my hunger/ thirst reflexes as this is what has got me into trouble so far. I then have either leftover meal from night before, beans on toast, baked spud and beans, big salad, or sandwich using HEB bread for lunch with another pint or two of water, then for my main meal I have a very big dinner and I often make it free or as free as poss, and I make extra so if I feel like a snack in the eve I can have a bit more in a bowl!
Main meals that I eat that I make free on green days are:
Stuffed peppers with brown rice. (I make a bolognaise sauce, cut peppers in half stuff them and bung them in the oven covered in foil for about 30 mins and make some rice. It's my fave! Yummy! If you eat cheese then you could add your HEA or HEB allowance on top)
Shepherds pie. I make it with frylight for the onions then finish off the sauce and don't put any butter in the mash so it is free.
Curry and rice. I use frylight to get the onions going and then just add veg and curry powder and spices etc. I also sometimes use some points to add coconut milk- cos it's sooooo yummy!
Pasta with bolognaise sauce,
Chilli and rice.
Baked potatoes with a red sauce with lots of veg,
Lot's of veg with a Linda McCartney sausage (I would have quorn but I'm vegan and quorn has egg in it)
As I said above I think it is easier for me as I don't have any dairy, and also I don't drink so that is two less things for me to use my syns up with. Also I've said before on here, I prefer to give stuff up completely rather than have a little bit, so it does make it easier that there are lot's of things I can't eat as I get into the habit of saying 'no thanks' when ppl offer me things!
Anyway I've rattled on long enough! Lol!0 -
