Evening all,
I was super good last night at the pub, I had chargrilled chicken with peas, mushrooms, tomatoes and a jacket potato instead of chips. I also ignored the butter that came with it.
Today I've decided to give flexi syns a go, I've allocated myself 50 but I'm not sure if I've been counting properly? I had weetabix and mullerlight for brekkie and some grapes, water to drink all day. I had a chicken burger and ice cream cone for lunch, then grazed on little tit bits of cheese at the local cheese festival this afternoon and had some baileys fudge. For dinner I have a slice of pepper quiche and potato salad waiting in the fridge.
I'm not too worried if I've completely blown it as it's been such a lovely day but it'll be interesting to see what my total weight loss for the week will be in the morning.
Tomorrow we're going to Longleat for the day, I dont know about lunch yet but I've offered to make a chicken curry for dinner (to keep the syns down!)
Wish me luck for tomorrow mornings weigh in!!!!!They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

Hi everyone , I am on my 8th go at slimming world , lol.
Can anyone tell me if sweet potatos are allowed on EE as a free food ?
sorry another question ....
I bought a pack of tesco yogurts 6x
low fat = 2 strawberry ,2 raspberry,2 black cherry.
I cant find them in my book.
It says each pot contains 2.3g fat and 115 calories.
Does anyone know if they have syns please ?

Yes sweet potatoes are free. Tescos low fat yogurts are 2 ½ syns each. Fat free yogurts such as Muller light, Shape fuller for longer and weight watchers yogurts are better as they are all free.

I've had problems getting hold of smoked tofu recently, even holland and barrat were sold out, but have managed to get the plain blocks of cauldron brand tofu in sainsburys, asda and tesco recently. If not try holland and barrat or julian graves they will probably have some.0 -
 Thanks for your replys.
The trouble I am having is finding yogurts and diet drinks without
aspartamine in them ( gives me migraine).
We just popped into sainsburys and I found
sainsburys light strawberry yogurt - but its not in my book ,
it says 0.2% fat and 103 calories per pot. I am hot oping they are free , does anyone know ?
I also got some sainsburys kids, 6x whole & white mini wraps - not in my book.
I must get myself a up to date Directory , does anyone know how much they cost ?
many thanks for reading.Kindness costs nothing0 -
Hi Ya Red and green days haven't been replaced by extra easy, this is just a new way of doing things you can still do red and green days if you want, but extra easy has combined the 2 so you can have your meat and potatoes on a sunday if you like.
It just means you lose one of each healthy extras.
Hope that helps
SHWAIm hoping some of you lovely people here can help me because I really need to lose some weight - about a stone or stone and a half.
I half heartedly did the SW plan last year and, although I liked red days I found myself getting a bit agitated (probably because of the lack of carbs?). I was fine sticking to green days though. I liked the Mix to Match (I think that was what it was called!) which meant I chose at each meal whether it was green or red. As I said, though, I did it half heartedly so didn't really lose any weight and also didn't go to a group or anything.
Ive been on the SW website and it looks as though the red/green days have been replaced by Extra Easy. Is this correct? Can anyone explain Extra Easy to me.
Im terrified of going to a group and so am going to join online. Its very expensive though as I would need to pay £80 for 3 months for the gold membership in order to get all the books I need. Im not going to join until I have all the menu plans and all the food I need in order to start, which will be tomorrow or Monday. Am I allowed to ask for the password to the website in the meantime?
This is how I feel. I can't believe I can eat eggs, beans, tomatoes and bacon etc for breakfast and still lose weight. When I was younger I just used to crash diet for a few days at a time to keep my weight down. As els says, being hungry equals weight loss in my head. Im now 44 though and just can't diet like this any more as it would make me feel ill and I would also probably end up killing someone!
Sorry for the long post but I need a kick up the backside and some help in order to get started!1vs 100 £505500/335.25 (5.5K COMING DOWN)20.00/10,000(10K GOING UP)Not long now0 -

I was looking on Ebay at the Slimming World books and there are quite a few 2009 starter packs for sale. Theres also someone selling the starter packs on cd in the form of a pdf file which she has made herself. Surely this is illegal? Its one thing to sell a starter pack or cookbook that you no longer want but to create a cd from these and sell this seems to be a money making thing to me.
On another note, I wish I didn't have my family to cook for because Id find dieting much easier if I only had myself to make food for. Does anyone else feel like this?0
