Im thinking of trying the Extra Easy but Im a bit old school and like my Green days (not a big meat eater) is it easy? Im a bit scared of doing it and putting on because I get it wrong is it complicated?0 -

I always stuck to green before, now i always have extra easy. Most days is extra easy for me unless as the day goes on i want the extra healthy extra's then i'll turn it into a green day.
I like that i can have ham in my sandwich and not have to syn it or count it as a healthy extra. Thats just about the only meat i eat anyway. Its not complicated at all, easier than the green and original i would say. HTHBaby Thomas Jake 'TJ' is due 01.11.100 -
Hi everyone.
I started slimming world last week and had my first weigh in last night. I lost 2 lbs which is great, but i would have expected to lose more, considering it was my first week. I guess i'm used to diets where i eat hardly anything and lose 5lbs in the first week. With this plan (extra easy), i am never hungry and feel satisfied which in my mind, due to past diet conditioning equals weight gain. I can't help thinking this plan is too good to be true and i won't lose the weight i need to lose. Did anyone else worry about this? i really love this plan and really want it too work out.

I can (and do) give you my personal guarantee that it will work if you follow the plan exactly. Weigh and measure what needs to be weighed and measured, fill up on Free Foods and you'll be fine!
Everybody's first week is different and if you've been following a restricted calorie diet, it can take a week or two for you to get used to being able to eat so much. Whatever you do, don't cut back on the Free Foods or you'll find that your weight loss will actually slow down.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Does this ring a bell for anyone?
Last night I sat looking through my diary and found the following:-.
January - New Year's day
February - Valentine's Day
March - Mother's day
April - Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Sunday & Monday and eldest son's birthday.
May - My birthday & 2 bank holidays
June - Father's Day & wedding anniversary
July - 2 weeks Annual Holiday, not forgetting 2nd sons birthday party
August - Relatives staying for two weeks
September - Hubby's birthday
October - Halloween party
November - Bonfire Night
December - Work's parties, Christmas Day, Boxing day & New Year's Eve.
To summarise :
Out of 365 days in the year there are 50 days I've already mentioned, but there are also 52 friday nights, 95 Saturday & Sundays, 72 days when the kids are off school, 26 family & friend's birthdays.
Which means that is a total of 295 days when I DIDNT follow the plan, leaving just 70 days of the year when I was on the plan!
Could that be why I am not losing weight?I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

That's my trouble most of the time, but then learning how to manage events like these is key to long term success I guess.
I have a friend to stay this weekend know that we will be eating out so am trying to think of ways to minimise the damage. I'll let you know how I get on!They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

my first weigh in tonight and I lost 4 and a half pound!!!!! I am so cuffed!
I've been doing the EE days and I seem to be ok on it. The only thing I really miss is bread. I think I'm having withdrawal symptoms. I had toast for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch and sometimes bread with by tea!!!!!
Anyway, thanks to those who have answered my questions this week, I'm sure I'll have more this coming week.
