Well done. 4 & half pounds is excellent.
I know what you mean about bread. Its my favourite thing.I could live on toast if it was allowed. but its not. I try my hardest to avoid it at all costs because when i start I can't stop.Be warned!!
good luck
jomy first weigh in tonight and I lost 4 and a half pound!!!!! I am so cuffed!
I've been doing the EE days and I seem to be ok on it. The only thing I really miss is bread. I think I'm having withdrawal symptoms. I had toast for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch and sometimes bread with by tea!!!!!
Anyway, thanks to those who have answered my questions this week, I'm sure I'll have more this coming week.

Im hoping some of you lovely people here can help me because I really need to lose some weight - about a stone or stone and a half.
I half heartedly did the SW plan last year and, although I liked red days I found myself getting a bit agitated (probably because of the lack of carbs?). I was fine sticking to green days though. I liked the Mix to Match (I think that was what it was called!) which meant I chose at each meal whether it was green or red. As I said, though, I did it half heartedly so didn't really lose any weight and also didn't go to a group or anything.
Ive been on the SW website and it looks as though the red/green days have been replaced by Extra Easy. Is this correct? Can anyone explain Extra Easy to me.
Im terrified of going to a group and so am going to join online. Its very expensive though as I would need to pay £80 for 3 months for the gold membership in order to get all the books I need. Im not going to join until I have all the menu plans and all the food I need in order to start, which will be tomorrow or Monday. Am I allowed to ask for the password to the website in the meantime?els135 wrote:I guess i'm used to diets where i eat hardly anything and lose 5lbs in the first week. With this plan (extra easy), i am never hungry and feel satisfied which in my mind, due to past diet conditioning equals weight gain. I can't help thinking this plan is too good to be true and i won't lose the weight i need to lose. Did anyone else worry about this? i really love this plan and really want it too work out.
This is how I feel. I can't believe I can eat eggs, beans, tomatoes and bacon etc for breakfast and still lose weight. When I was younger I just used to crash diet for a few days at a time to keep my weight down. As els says, being hungry equals weight loss in my head. Im now 44 though and just can't diet like this any more as it would make me feel ill and I would also probably end up killing someone!
Sorry for the long post but I need a kick up the backside and some help in order to get started!0 -
So sorry MD about your loss. Just concentrate on eating health and taking care of yourself. You must be feeling really low so give yourself a good pampering whether its a nice bar of chocolate or a lovely bubble bath and a good book.0

So sorry to mummydumpling to hear your news
Don't worry about it at the min, I like the indulge over the weekend idea, then see how it goes on monday. You will have enough on your plate to think about without the added stress of this too. On the other hand it may give you something to focus on to keep your mind busy elsewhere iyswim.
Sending you a big hug. x0 -
