    PPI Party Pooper
Hi everyone, I used to post on this thread a while ago, but with illness I've been up and down on the plan. However, these last 2 weeks I have been back in "the zone" as it were, and this week I lost 6lbs!

Can anyone help? I wrote down a carrot cake recipe from the "Best Ever" recipe book, which I was planning to make on Saturday, but I cant find the piece of paper I wrote it on! D'oh!! Does anyone have this book, and could you post it here for me, or send me a pm? Its the one thats 2.5 syns per serving. Many thanks :o
You're so very special, I wish I was special

I made this a few weeks ago, it looked and smelled delish as it was cooking, then, I realised id read the recipe wrong and hadnt par boiled the potatoes!! It was already in the oven, so I turned the heat down and tried to cook it for longer. But it was awful and practically inedible!. The mince was good though, so ill try again and do it properly as it looked so yummy. silly me :o

  • hadn't been doing it for quite some time so as a bit like a week one really. other than that stuck to plan, kept syns low (over the week prob quite a bit lower than allowance) and walked a little - was rather surprised myself to be honest.

    thanks all :T

  • Has anyone tried any recipes from the new extra easy recipe book? I made the bacon and butternut squash risotto last night and it was lovely, never tried butternut squash before and it definately gets the thumbs up :T

I had the haddock risotto last week and wasnt too keen on that, and the cottage pie and that was nice but dp said he prefers the traditional cottage pie.

I'm going to give the pork chops and spring onion mash a go tonight after WI

  • umm has anyone got any tips for following SW with morning sickness? :o I just found out I'm expecting again and am feeling really queasy. The smell of cooking turns my stomach and as DH works shifts there's noone else around to the cooking for the family. Also I'm really struggling to find any food that I fancy eating - just want to eat toast, cereal and biscuits which obviously doesn't work well with SW LOL

    thanks :D
    Mum of 7 (aged 14y to 1y)
loving SW - 5st off and counting! :j
  • I some how lost a 1lb which was a miracle lol I am now back in the full swing of SW and really would like another stone off. Mind you Id still be happy with half a stone xxx bring it on xx
  • Hi there

I was doing SW earlier in the year but I didn't have my head in the right place, had just had a baby & was breast feeding & found dieting wasn't the right thing for me

Well now my little man is 7month old & although I am still feeding him I feel I am in a better place to diet again (also milk is not all his diet now)

I have dug out all the info from the meetings & will hopefully be able to go along & re-join within the next couple of weeks, can someone just refresh my memory though is extra lean mince free on EE ?

I am excited about jumping back on the wagon & spending this afternoon making a list of family friendly recipe ideas so I can get meal planning

    thanks
    BB
