i have a can in fridge & am tempted
as a 1 off:rotfl:
A 250ml can is 5½ syns on either plan.
Please sit and read your Food Optimising book - it really is selfexplanatory especially if you got the introductory talk from a Consultant. If you still can't make head or tails of it, ask the Consultant to talk you through it again.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

The Extra Easy Plan is for anybody, any age. What would be different for a student (except lack of money I suppose)?
If it is a shortage of cash you're thinking of, it doesn't get much cheaper than the Green plan - potatoes, pasta, rice etc.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I am a former S.W member who has sinned! Many, many times!
I have not attended a class since January and cannot find my small booklet that gives advice on mixing red and green.
BUT i do want to get back into the habit of a more healthy lifestyle so I shall read this thread from start to finish over the next few days but I was wondering if anyone could provide me with an up-to date list of all the cereal bars that are listed as a health extra.
I dont eat much in the way of breakfast during the week and thought I could take one of these too work as a snack instead.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,
My name is Jen and I've been a slimming world member since 14th May, my neighbour took over as the consultant at our local group so it seemed a good time to join! I have an almost-4-yr-old son and a daughter who will be 2 next week. Before I had my son I was a size 10 but have been a size 18 ever since.
I got my 1 stone award a couple of weeks ago but then went camping for a week and put on 3lb. I really don't mind though, I enjoyed my holiday and I'm in no great rush to lose the weight.
I started at 14st 10lbs, I think I'm about 5ft 6 and my bmi was 33.1. When I had lost a stone I'd got it down to 30.6. My target weight is 11st for now, when I get there I might go down to 10st but it depends how I look, I don't want a 'lollipop head' :rotfl: I'm naturally curvy (big boobs and a bum to balance me) so would look ridiculous if I took it too far.
I WI on Thursdays at 7pm and would love to get rid of that naughty 3lb gain this week. I've been eating loads of speed and superspeed foods, but still making sure I've been having some syns. I weighed myself last night and my scales said I'd lost 2lb so hopefully I'm heading in the right direction! I'm part of the social team so help set up and do the WIs for everyone.
I tried weight watchers last year before my wedding, I lost a stone in 4 months but was starving everyday, I hated it so much. Slimming World is amazing, it's great being able to feed the whole family the same meal! My husband wasn't big but had a podgy tummy - he has slimmed down a lot too just through eating SW friendly evening meals.
Sorry this was so long, hello!!

Forgot to say, I've done Extra Easy all along - so much easier to feed everyone the same.
Today my meal plan is:
B: 1 slice Nimble wholemeal bread, baked beans, poached egg.
L: Speed Soup.Speedy Chilli (see a theme here?!) with 28g cheddar (HEXA)
Snacks: Mullerlights, toasted slice of Nimble bread with 1tsp reduced sugar jam (HEXB, 1/2syn), fruit.
I need some more syns today but don't know what to have yet, we have nothing 'naughty' in and no money until tomorrow. I might have to do some baking....
I wish the SW website had a recipe builder like Weight Watchers, you put in the ingredients for whatever you were making and it would work out the points value of it.Grocery Challenge £5.43/£320.00
