I feel so much happier now - I am nicely in my target zone rather than drifting at the top end of it :D:D

well done, I can't wait till I'm into a target zone, I done it last year and am hoping to do it again soon.
Just printed off a weeks trial menu from the SW site and they have free chips on there, can't wait to try them!!!!

well done to sw_mina as well.......
  • I'm thinking about trying SW. I won't go to the meetings as I cannot afford it but will buy all the books from ebay etc.

What I want to know though is whether it works on people who only need to lose a bit of weight. I need to lose about a stone as I am 5'1" and weigh 9 stone. Will it work on me? I have tried a few other diets but none seem to shift this baby weight and I had my baby almost 2 years ago!

    Thanks

You will pay a fortune on ebay. join a class, pay the joining fee and get the materials. If you really can't afford it, don't go back.

Looking at the BMI calculator on the website, you are currently in the 'healthy range', but could lose 10% of your body weight (12lb) and still remain in the healthy range (reducing your BMI from 24 to 21).

I understand that the plan works for anyone with weight to lose. For some it may work faster, for others slower, but if you follow the plan 100% you will lose weight.

Well, I'd like to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight which was 8 stone.

Well done sw_mina and angie. I made Marions rice tonight as I wanted something quick. Was night shift last night and only got up at 6.30pm. It was really nice I put one of the new Muller Lights in. The vanilla with chocolate shavings.
