Ooh WI tonight and 3lbs off on my first week. Despite a wedding and a party at the weekend :) I'm really pleased. So pleased I just had pizza and wine :( but I'm stopping drinking now...

Mrs E : you can in fact send a text to a land line and it is read out in a robot-like voice to the recipient, either right away or as a message later if they are not in. This is also useful in persuading errant children to behave - getting a robot message in a weird voice on the phone telling them "I know you have been naughty, now be good or no birthday presents for you" works wonders :p

yes I agree - the evening I weighed in was my 'night off' and although it doesn't harm once in a while it does get out of control eventually. I got to the point where I wasn't just having a bar of chocolate or a naughty meal but I was binging because everything I wanted I could only have thta night! :o

fannyannie, if you've stuck to it you will almost definately have lost something (ongoing weeks are rarely as much as your first week (unless you have been exercising like a crazy woman and/or it's TOTM!)

    Don't worry!

I will update this space with new Healthy Extras, details of current offers etc!

The Healthy Extra I want to share this week is the Green Giant soup range.

a 330g pouch is one HEB and you can pick from
    Farm Harvest Mushroom
    Country Garden Vegetable Soup
    Vine Ripened Tomato soup

they retail for about 74 pence per pouch, cook in the microwave for about 2 mins and are very yummy :D

    Challenge of the week :D

    Something a bit different!
This week's challenge is to purchase a fruit or vegetable you have never cooked with before. There are plenty of obscure fruits and vegetables listed in your food optimising book. Have a read of your food op book and see what you can come up! My chosen vegetable for this challenge is a dudhi !!

Green Giant soups are 2 for 99p in the 99p shop at the mo :T

We had a lot of fun with this at work too.

    :hello: Poohbear.

mgsnomey - hope you managed to sort your head out. I needed the discipline of having put 3lb on to stop me from carrying on like I am on holiday.

Gammon, egg and SW chips for tea tonight with a glass of white wine.

I could really do with some help...
I've been doing Slimming World for a couple of months now, I 've done it previously

I'm really struggling to think of things to eat and so I end up eating toast, chocolate or crisps!!
I'm doing EE and find it great, I'm just struggling with a lack of meal ideas.
    Especially lunch...

So, what do you guys eat??
I feed my family what I eat, I want to keep it pretty frugal and I don't want it to be too tricky or time consuming to make.

I like fruit and a muller light for breakfast and then bacon on a saturday

    Lunches.....really struggling with this one.

Tea...another one where I could do with a bit of inspiration.

When I look at people food diaries on different sites they often have a list of foods but not a menu.

Hoping you can give me a kickstart!!
