Hi all,
Just to say that I lost 1.25lbs last week which was despite a couple of days off plan due to parties at the weekend - so yay for that! It means I have only lost a total 3.25 lbs in 4 weeks, but still going in the right direction.
I am finding that my sundays are tending to be EE, then trying to have 2 days original in the week and stick the rest to green. Have been keeping my syns below 10 per day on the plan days (and sky high on those couple of days where I have fallen off a bit!). Also have started having a bit more scan bran/wheat bran cake.
So, am trying the same again this week and aim to be on plan for 7+ days in a row!
Today is Original and plan is:
B: Muller + 28g oats (magic porridge) HEB
S: 2 x Alpen light bars HEB, LF yog w/ 1/2 options (1 syn)
L: Salad with tuna steak & prawns w/ red wine vinegar & soy to dress, quark w/ options (2 syns)
S: Apple & grapesGarlic prawns w/ courgetti & arrabiatta sauce, fruit & yog
Do you think there is too much fruit & yog?

Can I just ask is that what magic porridge is? oats & Muller?0 -
Edited to delete double posting!
Anyhoo - magic porridge is where you add the oats to the muller the night before, put it in the fridge and its like chilled porridge by the morning -voila!
someone else invented this - so I cant take the credit!

I've not been doing very well keeping my syns below 10 this week so far but I've been trying to eat more fruit and Chocolate Mullers instead of Magnum syns :P

Mrs E : you can in fact send a text to a land line and it is read out in a robot-like voice to the recipient, either right away or as a message later if they are not in. This is also useful in persuading errant children to behave - getting a robot message in a weird voice on the phone telling them "I know you have been naughty, now be good or no birthday presents for you" works wonders:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
