    Hi All
I joined SW on Tuesday and I'm currently trying the EE plan, could someone tell me if I can have porridge as a HEB? I looked in my EE Book and it's not listed as one of the HEB items.
    Thanks

As far as I am aware you can have any 1 HEa and any 1 HEb from either Green or Original plan when doing extra easy.....I think.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Hi,
Has anyone ever found out what chocolate has the least amount of sins. So far I've got it down to 3 syns for a cadbury fudge. Don't think any will be much lower but if you do know of any, please tell. So need my choc fixes.
    Thanks

:hello: mgsnomey - quite a few flyladies doing SW now.

I lost 2lb at my weigh in, so I made my two stone before our holiday target :j:j

The quark based quiche suprised me by being excellent - no lumps or sharpness like you get with cottage cheese.

    hey you
ooo that sounds nice, any chance you could post the recipe ?
Sorry if its already been asked for, I am catching up on the thread from the last fortnight!

Margaret - Hello, it was a recipe at group that I adapted but someone a few pages ago suggested trying it with quark. Fry light your flan dish. I whipped a tub of quark with three large eggs, seasoned, mixed in 1.5 oz grated light mature cheddar and then poured it over some chopped peppers, onions and some frozen sweetcorn. Sprinkled another 1.5 oz of grated cheddar on top. 35 mins in the oven at 160, or till it is firm but slightly bouncy in the middle. Nice hot or cold, and as long as you eat less than half per day is your HEA for the cheese and the rest is free. Use whatever veg you have, nice with pre-cooked pasta mixed in as well, and you can add bacon/chicken, ham or whatever. I wasnt keen on the strong flavour or the lumps with the cottage cheese.

mgsnomey - I mostly use my syns on wine, a lot less in in than I thought. has to be better for than chocolate surely? Or indeed the happy meal I just ate - did give my fries to DS2 though.

LOl so obv I just found it

Use the main Food Optimising book (the one with Red one side and Green on the other) for the full lists of HEBs. Eventually the EE book will be revised with the full list, whereas at the mo it just has a taster of what's on offer.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
  • Hi All

I ve just found this and i wish i was on here months ago. I started SW back at the beginning of the year and was going great guns until i lost interest. I went with a friend who stopped going and then i was getting bored of the groups as it felt like i was wasting ahour and a half of my life by sitting there and never really got anything out of it. The weight also started to slow down and i couldn't exercise as i had a bad leg. I left and was going to keep it up at home but in the end i just stopped.

Now 7 months later i am heavier than i was in Jan and not happy - also i am sooo uncomfortunable. I went to bed and thought you have got to stop so i have started again.

I had my weigh in and i have 2 stone to lose. My first week is always a good one so i have all my meals sorted (ish) and i am going to go to the gym 3 times a week to start with - i have been doing this for nearly 2 months but my diet hasn't been what it should be, it hasn't really helped the weight - this is also madness as it is such hard work to burn the carolies and then i go and eat what i like - no joined up think.

So here we go WEEK 1.

Will let you know how i get on
    1vs 100 £50
    5500/335.25 (5.5K COMING DOWN)
    20.00/10,000(10K GOING UP)
    Not long now
    :)

Just wanting to know what your fave 400g loaf is. Wholemeal of course.
I have switched between WW and nimble malted for the last year and a half, but find them really thin and turn into dust in the toaster. Id like to know what you find the best for sandwiches/toast and the best for not feeling like your missing our on a good sandwich.

    thanks

    Hi Nic:wave:

My OH is giving SW a try this week so since Saturday we have both stuck to the plan 100% he was not happy with the allowance of lager he is allowed every day though:rotfl: he will thank me for it when he gets on the scales at the weekend.

Hope everyone else is doing OK x
