Well today is weigh in and my other half lost 2.5lb :j and i lost 3lb after a sts last week. :j
So thats 1lb of her stone and a half badge and i am 6lb off 2 stone.
She stays for the meetings with a couple of friends and i just weigh in at boots.
This was after a week where we werent quite as good day by day with low syns but were still only 70 for the week - I wonder if it may have just mixed up the diet a little and done us some good??
Anyways two weeks then its a week away so two really good weeks and then a relax a bit one
Thanks for all the great posts on here - very motivating :T0 -
hello there
I've been away for 2 weeks and am now back on the wagon!
We went to NIreland and stayed in my Mums house (she wasnt there though) and for the first week I did try wuite hard and went to a meeting - and put on a pound!!! I was gutted!!!! So I lost the plot a bit in week 2 and went to my meeting last night to have put on another pound and a half. But still it should have been worse really.
So I am now doing it properly again. Both the last 2 meetings they have been selling Extra Easy so I thought Id give it a go. I am veggie nad so do green days but I am naughty and eat fish so I thought Extra Easy might work for me.
I have a question though. So today I thought I would do Extra Easy. As it turns out though, everything I have eaten would have been free on Greenj so essentially I have done a Green Day with a HEA and a HEB still going spare. Can I now change my mind to a green day and have those ? On papar its been a green day anyway, I havent had any meat or fish.
I will read the last 10 pages of the thread now to catch up on everyones news
Cheers

Hi, anybody feel like inspiring me? I am chugging away okay, but just feeling things wandering. Tonight I've just gone and eaten two bits of toast with butter because I'm hungry and just a bit sick of fruit. I think it's because I'm stuck. If I lose, I feel inspired and really able to go for it, but I have sts for two weeks now and am feeling a bit low about what to change to get going again. Plus I'm going on holiday on Friday and want to stay on track but feel it all slipping away from me...
Any tips? I have lost almost two stones and have a half a stone to go.0 -

Well done!!!!
I got SOTW too with 2 1/2 lbs. I've only been going 3 weeks but have lost 5.5 lbs, aiming for my half stone next week.0 -
Oh dear, second week and WI this morning. Not surprised to have a gain but 3lbs!
Definitely serves me right for being so naughty at the weekend. I must get my Extra Easy recipe book out for ideas of meals next week
No point feeling disheartened when it's all my own fault!
Steak, SW Chips and salad tonight for dinner...mmmhmm!SW since 23/07/2009Target Loss for 05/11/2009 = 33lbs/33lbs to go0 -
Oh I'm excited I found this thread! Just went to my first SW meeting last night, desperate to shift a few lbs before going on hol and wasn't managing to do it myself. I'm mostly veggie so thinking I'll focus on the green days (I did look at extra easy but it looked hard to me
). Had a big bowl of mixed fruit with low fat yoghurt this morning (BTW is this different from fat free??) and planning pasta and tomato sauce for dinner. Still trying to figure out the lunch thing though, I'm a bread kind of gal and it will take a bit of work to get past this.
Sounds like you're all doing really well on it. I've got at least 2.5 stone to lose, realistically i could lose 3.5 so a long way to go.
Fingers crossed0 -

The FSA states that "low fat" should only be used on foods containing less than 3g of fat per 100g; and "fat free" should only be used for foods containing less than 0.15g of fat per 100g. There's quite a difference so you will need to syn yogurts that claim to be low-fat.
I'm a veggie and just doing green days, would just advise you to be careful not to fill up too much on pasta and rice. I know they are free but people can sometimes eat too much at the expense of eating more veg.0 -

Thanks so much! Still trying to get used to this *new* way of eating but actually I'm surprised that I'm only just starting to get hungry when I had fruit for breakfasthave always felt I needed something carb-y before. maybe the yoghurt helped but I suspect it's probably a syn
Will go back and check the label. And thanks for the tip on pasta and rice, I really need a good loss in the next week so will try to follow the tip!
Think it's lentil soup for lunchHM and frozen and hopefully syn free
