Yeah, I read that, too. Good luck with it - let us know how you get on!Well in a bid to boost my weight losses I have downloaded the couch to 5k application for my phone and I have just completed the first stage. I was Reading the running for beginners article in this months sw magazine and I have decided to give it a go. I'm hoping it gets easier.0 -

I'd forgotten all about this stuff, used to eat loads in my young veggie days! Will def get some will be great for a green dinner as I'm doing an experimental break from extra easy!0 -
Morning all, well done losers and don't lose heart gainers!
WI this morning - another 1.75lb off!! I had a really slow month in June, but pleased I kept at it, and didn't give up, because now it's shifting again.
Welcome to all the new people too.
I too am a Flylady and feel much more in control of my world!!0 -
Ugh...am completely unable to make a decision about what to have for my dinner tonight...I did think ooh I know bacon and eggs and mushrooms...then remember I'm on green (already had 2nd HEB and want to avoid syning anything as saving for the weekdn!).
On the bright side I boiled up some short grain (pudding) rice last night with some milk and water and it was lovely on it's own although I added mine to a muller. Have some leftover so will just have that tonight - wish I'd bought it to work now!!0 -

3lbs on this week but I had eaten my tea before weigh in which I never normally do (was starving and don't get back from WI till 830pm). I'm aiming to at least lose the weight I've put on at next WI
I sat down and worked out that if I can lose 2lb a week from now till Xmas I'll be in the "healthy weight" range for the first time in my life
what a cool start to 2010!
what target is everyone else working towards?
I'd like to win SOTW just once!! No, seriously, have set myself some mini targets as if I only look at the 'final' target I usually get scared and lose the plot!
First mini target is to lose 12lb by 9th September (festival) - have lost 4.5lb to date (in er...4 weeks!) so another 7.5lb to go in 6 weeks...eek! Going to be tough as I'm out/away every weekend until then!0 -
mad ladies wot clean a lot

type it into the search box in the top right (and select 'forums') it should point you to their daily thread...
We don't clean a lot...that's the whole point!!!!
I have weigh in tonight - week 2. I lost 1/2 lb last week so hoping for better things.
I did realise a big mistake the other day. In my quest to ensure I drank enough fluid I was making 2l jugs of squash in the morning and aiming to drink it throughout the day. I realised 6 days in that I hadn't been using sugar free squash so was consuming and extra 500 odd calories a day! :mad:0 -
Would anyone be kind enough to PM me to confirm this weeks password?
I can't get in with the one I've got, but I only got it yesterday
Thanks0 -
:undecided
Hi, can anyone help with this? I know if you process fruit it has to be synned, but if I make soup with just veg, is that the same?
Thanks0 -
mad ladies wot clean a lot

...
I concede the mad, not necessarily the ladies, but not the clean a lot!
It is a weekly support thread on the old style board aimed at people who struggle to keep on top of (or indeed anywhere near) the cleaning. Very friendly and a lovely place to kill time.
I am really struggling this week with eating junk, I have blown it every day this week. Need to get rid of the lethargy and get back on plan before I undo the hard work
. I have lost two stone in 9 weeks, I am equally capable of putting two stone straight back on.
neonic - I did the couch to 5k too, it is how I shifted the first stone before I joined SW. I hurt my ankle in a freak clumsy idiot accident a few weeks ago and still cant run. It does get easier I promise you. Took me 7/8 weeks but I could run a comfortable 30 mins by the end, against struggling with 30 seconds at the start.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
