Inazuma, that is something that has bothered me a long time. Also, tinned tomatoes are free (I think) but they are a fruit not a vegetable. So my favourite soup (tomato, made with tinned toms) would be a Double Syn! I hope you get a response from someone who knows the answer.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Had WI tonight and I lost 3 1/2 lbs :j
After putting on a 1lb last week for no reason left me feeling a bit despondant and I bought the SW dessert book @ 2.95. I'm fed up of eating fruit and fancy something different for a change :p

Oh, and I forgot to pick up the password

I concede the mad, not necessarily the ladies, but not the clean a lot!

It is a weekly support thread on the old style board aimed at people who struggle to keep on top of (or indeed anywhere near) the cleaning. Very friendly and a lovely place to kill time.

I am really struggling this week with eating junk, I have blown it every day this week. Need to get rid of the lethargy and get back on plan before I undo the hard work :o. I have lost two stone in 9 weeks, I am equally capable of putting two stone straight back on.

neonic - I did the couch to 5k too, it is how I shifted the first stone before I joined SW. I hurt my ankle in a freak clumsy idiot accident a few weeks ago and still cant run. It does get easier I promise you. Took me 7/8 weeks but I could run a comfortable 30 mins by the end, against struggling with 30 seconds at the start.

....and I confess it's somewhere I really should visit more often but seeing the lists of jobs just sent me running for the biscuit box!!!

2 stone in 9 weeks is awesome - well done!

    Woohoo!!!

Lost 2 and half pounds at weigh in tonight!!! Very happy with that!

I looked at the MSE Flylady thread and they make it a lot more complicated than it was ever meant to be IMO. Anyone following it properly through the book or flylady website wouldn't spend more than a few hours a week doing all their housework (including laundry).
  • Kelloggs Bliss bars. Am I right in thinking it's 1 bar per HEB?
I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware

Hi, can anyone help with this? I know if you process fruit it has to be synned, but if I make soup with just veg, is that the same?

    Thanks

Vegetables are fine and for the purpose of slimming world tomatoes are a vegetable so you can cook, puree - do whatever you like with vegetables and they will still be free foods. Enjoy your soup!

    Morning!

I was serving up (?!) myself a muller light this morning - one with the chocolate sprinkles and I noticed that they are smaller than the normal ones - you get 165g instead of the usual 200g! It looked half empty when I opened it.

I can't help but feel a bit cheated! I assume they've done it so that they have more or less the same calories as the others. It just goes to show that even a sprinkling of chocolate cant be ignored!

Nevermind. I made a good effort at the funeral and didnt eat lots of pointless stuff just because we were hanging around. There was a lovely cake that I had every intention of eating a piece of, but just didnt get round to it.

I'm gonna try that quark quiche thing that someone posted earlier tonight, it looks yum and all I need to get in is the eggs. V MSE.
  • Help - does anybody know how many syns are in a Roasted Peanut Tracker??

Also, off out for a meal tomorrow night.....just wanted to clarify the Extra Easy plan to see if I can use it tomorrow??

Am I correct in thinking I can eat ALL kinds of FREE foods from green or red, 1 HEA and 1 HEB and still have 5-15 syns??
So in theory I could have the following:-

    Breakfast
Toast (HEB) with Bacon, Beans and Bowyers Sausage (1 syn)

    Lunch
Prawns and a large mixed salad

    Dinner
Steak, Jacket Potato and salad, glass of wine (6 syns)

Using HEA milk for coffee through the day

    Is this correct??
