Help - what can i have for dinner?

I've just chargrilled a chicken breast, I have both my HEB's left and have some tomatoes, quark, bacon and from frais in the fridge and not much else. Don't really want potatoes, bread or pasta as I am trying to keep off the carbs after a very naughty few days

    Any ideas?

Edit: Just found some cottage cheese too. I've eaten 3 eggs today so no more of them either!

    Thanks

Mullerlight vanilla sprinkled with a dark chocolate and was surprised to see it is syn free

Surprised how high in syns some of the other mullerlight stuff is though. Have to tread carefully there

How about rice with the chicken chopped up with some fried onion (if you have it) cooked with the tomato and some seasoning, maybe chilli sauce or whatever you have then stir in the quark at the end to make it creamy. Might be good might be ok.

Thanks for the welcome - I feel I know loads of you already, and have found it really useful and informative even when I was just reading. Took loads of notes of stuff to buy and recipes, so thanks everyone!! BTW does anyone know how many syns are in non-alcoholic lager, please?

What "treats" do people use their syns for ?

I've just re-discovered Ryvita Limbos. Tried them last year and had forgotten all about them till I came across them again last week. They have Cheese n Onion, Salt n Vinegar and Smoky Bacon......all at 3 syns on all plans. I found them tasty and a satisfying low syn option when I crave crisps.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Thanks BradnJanet; in the end I was very lazy and mixed a tub of cottage cheese with spring onion, tomato and black pepper. Chopped the chicken into pieces and mixed it all together. I saw I had a meringue nest in the cupboard so more excited about pudding now strawberries and blueberries with sweetened yoghurt and a crushed up meringue :j

I took the children to Mcdonalds for lunch and I had a hamburger. very proud of myself. Usually I would have big mac, large fries, apple pie and mcflurry! I didn't feel deprived whereas I would have done if I'd have had nothing.

Answered my own questions - 3 syns!

If any of you like pesto, I've discovered that Asda do their own reduced fat green pesto. Comes in a jar, one tablespoon is 1.5syns, as opposed to 3syns for normal. It tastes the same when used in a recipe, but is a tad dry on its own, due to lack of oil.

Thanks for the syn usage answers LOL. Just wanted to see if people had normal stuff like wine and crisps or kebabs :rotfl:) or still righteous stuff like ryvitas - interesting to see a mix :)
