B - alpen (HEB) with some of my milk (HEA)
    L - scrambled eggs & toast (HEB)
D - jacket spud, cheese (HEA) and beans
    snacks - fruit
syns - butter for my toast and scrambled egg.

    Morning all!

Well the moussaka was a success, it was very nice indeed so definitely worth trying! It was a fair amount of effort though with lots of pans, so took a bit of time.

I had about 30 syns on friday and about 27 yesterday, but expect the next few days to be low syns, so hoping for an element of cancelling out. I also have to weigh in 2 days early this week, so expecting any losses will be small. Am off to a wedding for a few days, so will have to be on best behaviour to avoid undoing the last week of trying hard and seeing the benefits.

I'll go to the gym this evening, try and get another session in before going away, then try and do a run on sunday.

Yeah - could someone post this please? I normally do my chilli with only one type of bean!

Hi. I've been doing the online trial menu for nearly a week and have found it really easy to stick to, so will be going along to join up tomorrow. I've read a big chunk of this thread, though not all - too long, can I ask what is a mugshot?

    Cheers

mugshots are a bit like a cross between a cup-a-soup and a pot noodle.
They come in a sachet and you make them up in a mug by pouring over boiling water and leaving for 5 minutes. They have noodles or pasta in.
I have tried the Thai one which is SOOOOOO gorgeous (1/2 a syn but so worth it), and the tomato pasta one which I think is free.

I got mine in Asda, cost about 45p.

Hi everyone - another Monday and time to focus!

I was horrified last week with the way I just thoughtlessly scoff food - and how quickly that habit has developed. SO - no point beating myself up about it but this stone has got to go - so focussed today. Writing down EVERYTHING and going to put a bit more thought into what I eat.

AM going to the gym today, so will weigh myself there - and that can be my starting weight. I need to do this properly otherwise I will drift along for another few months - and then it'll be a stone and a half that needs to come off:rolleyes:

Sorry for the ramble everyone - but thanks for reading!

    Hey all,

Some SW bargains I noticed whilst shopping today:

    Asda
    - Chick pea dahl tins rolled back to 73p (was 77p)
    - Sharwoods Fine Egg Noodles 6 pack dried rolled back to £1 (was around £1.30)
    - Batchelors Savory Rice 4 packets for £1
    - Batchelors Low Fat Super Noodles 4 packets for a £1
    - Muller Lights 4 individual pots for £2, 6pack multi packs £2.98

    Morrisons
    - 3 mugshots for £1

    Home Bargains
    - Batchelors Pasta N Sauce 49p per packet (rrp approx 80p) - this appears to be a permanent price as I've been buying mine there for months now.
