nic2075 thanks for the reply. As you say the having to speak bit is a bit nerve wracking but I know I speak freely now at my current WW meeting cos I feel amongst friends so I guess after a while and recognising some faces a SW meeting will feel the same. The main reason I am nervous about having my loss (or otherwise) publicly said out loud is that of course that means you have to do it properly!! And of course there is no point even going unless I am going to do it properly!! I really need to knuckle down, maybe the name and shaming will give me that much need kick up the you know what.

So how is this looking for today so far:

B: apple&blueberry oatso simple - how many syns please ?
S: chocolate digestive (at toddler group) - again how many syns please?
L: couscous with 1/2 tin Asda mixed beans and chopped salad veg (cucumber, pepper, spring onion) and a muller light vanilla-choc

For tea we are going to have Quorn sausages with potatoes and veg

I was thinking of today as a green day but could it be extra easy or whatever its called ?

The main meals for me arent the problem, its the constant snacking in between, I think I need to learn to love fruit.

back from WI - lost 5.5 lbs and got slimmer of week for 1st time in quite a while :j:j:cool:

    Whoop go you! :T

Well I'm a lapsed (several times) Sw'er but I'm back as OH proposed to me two weeks ago on our first day in Sorrento. Wedding will be late June 2010  So lots of weight to shift between now and then!!!! :o
Will be tricky until I remove some non-SW food in the house, but started on my fave green day (EE doesn't work for me) so egg & baked beans for brekkie, apple for snack, savoury rice for lunch and meat and 2/3 veggies for dinner (eating at Mum & Dads) - just have to side-step the pudding!

    Hi Catt

I was only reading because I am thinking of coming back too:D I have been doing Slimfast for a little while and lost 10lbs, but it was making me feel sick after a few weeks so, started eating junk to make myself feel better:confused: Anyway have put back on a few pounds so really want a diet where I can eat real food again:)

    So here I am, back:D

I am going to have a bit of a hard time with it at first as we also have quite a lot of non-SW food in the house:rolleyes: I will just have to adapt it somehow:)

4 syns for the biccie, 6.5 for the oatso simple (there are some you can have as your Healthy Extra B choice but I can't see that one on the list - swap to the plain oatso simple and add your own fruit!). Don't forget your HEB and HEA choices - 2 of each if you are doing red/original days, one of each if you are doing the extra easy programme.

Not looking forward to weigh in tonight, went a bit barmy with the syns yesterday at the Oasis gig....arghh! Would have been fine had it not been day before weigh in but thanks to a little hangover I know my body is now holding on to water like a sponge!

Made some scan bran cake at the weekend.....YUK! Never again! Also made mini quiches which turned out pretty good but were a bit salty (possibly due to the cottage cheese, will try a different brand next time). Found a recipe on the minimins forum for bbq sauce (syn free) it's very nice and was pretty easy to make too :D

Thanks! I need to buy some different oatso simple then! I love it for brekkie cos its poritonised and easy to measure out. I haver a 6yo, a 4yo and an almost 2yo to sort out before school each morning so theres no time to weigh and measure. Tried prepping the night before but am just not organised. So its oatso simple or toast (with tons of butter ... yadda yadda yadda....)

Getting my head round the HE choices. Had milk with oastos simple and coffees so thats one right ? Need to get out the book and consult!
