    Hi all

Just to say, mullers are back on offer in Sainsburys - 8 for £2

I lost 2lb this week, but as I put on last week, it's more like a 1/2 lb off!

Well after being really good all week I somehow managed to gain half a pound. I'm really gutted because I've been so good.

I agree with Green days being more filling, I'm not a huge meat eater anyway so my HE allowance is enough for me, but it's the snacks I find hard on reds....

I made those cupcakes from the new mag last night everyone, and they're lovely! Only 2 syns each so perfect with a cup of tea! Ok so they're not quite the same as proper cupcakes, but they're not far off, and they're really easy to make!

Anyone got any ideas what I can make for diner tonight? I'm on green and had a HiFi for breakie, and am having beans and cheese on toast for lunch, so all HEbs and one HEa used up already!!

I'm thinking pasta, but my OH doesn't really like tomato pasta, he thinks its plain and boring... guess I could add some bacon to his though....

all ideas welcomed, and sorry for rambling!!

It may be too late for tonight, Catsy, but some other ideas with pasta are:

carbonara (bacon, garlic, mushroom, egg and ...erm... cream but you can either leave it out or use creme fraiche or plain yog instead) and parmesan over the top

ratatouille (onions, garlic, herbs, red pepper, courgette, aubergine, broccoli all chopped and sauteed in a little olive oil, with a bit of passata or a couple of tomatoes if hubby will accept) and parmesan over the top

I love both of these. If I am making just a tomato sauce I usually add chilli to give it some pizzazz.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

did I hear there was a new extra easy recipe book out? has anyone seen it? any good? my consultant doesn't have any books - you have to go to the other class in town to buy books. Want to know if its worth the trip :) thanks

Your Consultant should have the books and if she doesn't carry stocks, you really ought to complain to SW head office. It's a requirement that every group should have a full compliment of books, biscuits etc.

As far as I know, the new Extra Easy cookbook has not been published yet, it's certainly not on the Consultant's website for us to buy yet.

That's 10lb of ugly f@t I've shifted now but my bum still looks huge :D well it did in the mirror today at the gym :o

My daughter's just got rid of 15½ stone of ugly fat - she told him to leave :D. Sorry, couldn't resist, lol.

Well done on your loss so far :T

The human body is a very complicated piece of 'machinery' and as such, doesn't always do what we expect of it. Hang in there, keep to plan for the next week and you'll probably get a lovely surprise when you next weigh in.

I usually tell new members to look at their weight loss over a 4 week period, rather than stressing about a weekly loss. This gives a far truer picture of what's happening.

Do try and make sure that you're having plenty of water - a minimum of 2½ litres, spread throughout the day. It really does help with weight loss. You can have a little sugar-free squash in it if you can't stand plain water!

hi everyone - sorry if this is a long post..

It's a long time since i've been in here as i stopped going to class in january and thought i 'could go it alone' but 10lbs have slowly crept on. I lost 3.5 stone last yr and got to target and don't want to put all that to waste so i'm back on the wagon :)

I'm not going to class as yet though but would like to try the new extra easy..

I've got my head around the one HEA or HEB but not sure if you're allowed to snack in between meals?

If I had this today is it a good EE day?

    breakfast
2 x nimble WM bread - HEB (400g load) & hard boiled eggs.
    lunch
    Chicken mug Shot & tangarine
    Dinner
2 x Chicken drumsticks (no skin), homemade egg fried rice & veg in wok, corn on the cob
    snacks
I've just had a plate with my HEA Cheese, some sliced ham, pickles, cherry tom's & 1/2 bag of walkers crips..

Am I allowed to snack on meat or pasta etc or does it have to be neutral free foods like fruit/veg?

    Many thanks x

Thankyou. Was really fed up when I got home but I'm feeling a bit better now.
I don't think I drink enough tho. I can go most of the day without drinking anything then I tend to have a couple of glasses of squash with sparking water when I get home.
