I agree with Green days being more filling, I'm not a huge meat eater anyway so my HE allowance is enough for me, but it's the snacks I find hard on reds....

I made those cupcakes from the new mag last night everyone, and they're lovely! Only 2 syns each so perfect with a cup of tea! Ok so they're not quite the same as proper cupcakes, but they're not far off, and they're really easy to make!

Anyone got any ideas what I can make for diner tonight? I'm on green and had a HiFi for breakie, and am having beans and cheese on toast for lunch, so all HEbs and one HEa used up already!!

I'm thinking pasta, but my OH doesn't really like tomato pasta, he thinks its plain and boring... guess I could add some bacon to his though....

all ideas welcomed, and sorry for rambling!!

Hey wondering if someone has the time to look up something for me. i was going to slimming world classes at the beginning of the year and now i'm doing it on my own and know longer have passwords.

I need to know the syn value for a ready meal. Tesco light choice - Creamy Mushroom Pasta. it is delicious and i know when i had the password it was only 1 syn just making sure it has changed.

    Thanks in advance
  • Is it this one? Tesco Light Choices, Creamy Mushroom Pasta, chilled 350g pack * Original 19 Syns * Green 1½ Syns If you are having an Extra Easy day, choose the lower Syn value

  • Lost 2lb this week, so back to normal. Bit gutted, apparently I was SOTW last week but my littlest started wailing so I took him home before the end of the meeting and they had to give it to someone else :( On the plus side, I stopped on the way home to size up some new jeans as mine keep trying to fall down (and I've run out of holes in my belt to cinch them up!) and I'm now the same size I was before I had my daughter - so I've lost *two* lots of baby weight :) I feel a shopping spree coming on! :D

  • hi guys, i dont mean to sound like a dimwit but can someone just clarify something for me. I did SW last year and as usual have now put all the weight
on I lost so trying again. Bit to poor the now to go to class so trying on my own. Im used to the Red and Greens days and sort of understand the extra easy, at least I thought I did but reading nic2075 post they say they are having
pasta n sauce for lunch on EE. I thought this was just allowed on green? I also
love eating savory rice, does that mean I can eat this on EE day as well?

Yay for new jeans! Gutting to miss out on the sotw tho, the person at our class had gone home too and the sotw basket had loads of goodies in it, was raffled out, sadly I never win stuff like that!

Littlegirllost: yup, basically for extra easy if it's free on red, or free on green then it's free on extra easy. If it's syns then you use the lower syn value (ie if something is 15 on red, 1 on green, use the green value). You only get one HEB and HEA choice tho!

  • Hi all. I rejoined slimming world a couple of months ago, but really haven't managed to get back in the swing of it. WHilst my consultant is nice, she seems quite shy and doesn't really give me the motivation I need, so I'm thinking of going it alone (cheaper too!).
But I need that motivation to get me back on track - has anyone got any good tips for this? I know I need to lose the weight and I'm a bridesmaid for my mum in September, so I need to get started!!! TIA xx
 I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?

Could anyone please look up Sainsbury Basics custard 396g on the online syns please?

It's not in the directory and I don't have a password. Just need to know for my summer fruit dessert for teatime. Cheers!

    Per 100g, 76kcal, 3.1g protein, 14.4g carb, 0.7g fat, 397g tin.
