Anyway, as I've said before, if you're still losing weight whilst tweaking, fine, when your weight loss stops, look at the tweaking first, before deciding it's stopped working for you.

Please don't think I try to preach on here - I honestly say what I think is right in order to help people. I tend to quote the rules as I was trained to do, but a little rule-breaking is good for the soul as long as it's only occasionally.[/quote]

Definitely agree! When i start to slow down i know my diet needs a shake up and the HE's will be the first thing i will jiggle and change around! What do you say about the cous cous cake.....................

And i certainly don't think you preach and am grateful for a consultant to be here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS for all the help!

2lb per week average does sound much bettter, thanks natalie!!
So glad we have this site to talk to each other...
Do you think it makes a difference changing your HE B's or does it not matter if you have the same everyday? I tend to have porridge & 2 alpen lights everyday ( tho often i only eat 1 alpen bar)

Oh no.............not the couscous cake

I've seen too many members eat the cake in preference to a meal if they think it's free food. If you make one, have a slice after a meal and freeze the rest in slices for another time, otherwise I'd have to say it's misuse of free food, sorry!

It's better for your slimming campaign and your health to have a big variety of different foods. So if you can, I would definitely change your HEs as often as poss. Also it will stop boredom setting in.

You're doing really well so far so keep it up :)

  • Think il try that, if i only have 1 aplen light bar i can syn it (3 syns) and use my other B for something else.....il have to have a look in my book for some inspiration!

Not really feeling the cous cous cake to be honest - i am making CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE on Wed wahoooooooooo - 12 syns for the whole thing and i'm eating the lot :) - i love cheesecake and i have missed it for the past 3 weeks ;) mmmmmmmmmmmmmm cheesecake lol! oo and my joe's come Wed - free burgers yay yay with wholemeal rolls and bacon mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I think changing your b choices every month or so is important - it shakes your body up as it gets too used to the things you put in lol. Also dairy has been proven to aid weight loss so always use your A's and snack on speed foods if you can :) - blueberries/strawberries/melon :) - treat yourself :)

If you're in an area where the local Health Care Trust are part of the SW Referral Plan you may be paid for the first 12 weeks. Also I've noticed lately that some Health trusts are paying for slimming as part of a stop smoking campaign.

It's worth asking at your Doctor's.

However, if you've got the urge to commit yourself to following the plan now, don't delay too long or you might lose it :)
