Hi Judds :hello: how was your hols? I was on the thread from Oct last year through to a couple of months ago when I fell of SW big time. Ive also struggled from xmas really. I blame Extra easy (well I cant blame myslef and my will power can I?) I was doing fine on green/red then EE came out and I just wasnt as strict with myself and never really got back into it properly.
But I am now, and have lost the 8lbs and reached my first mini target I set 3 weeks ago. Im off to my cousins wedding tonight and thankfully I can wear the dress id bought in Feb and not look like a whale.

Does Angie and Marion (retired lady) still come on the thread? I havnt seen them in the last couple of weeks, they alsways had good advice and recipes.
Hope you have a good weekend

Re the family losing weight....tricky one if they won't eat cheese or desserts. Perhaps introduce another meal for them - supper or something? Maybe cheese on toast, cheese & biscuits, milky drink? Not sure if you are green or red .........make sure you have some free food you can eat at the same time they're snacking though:rotfl:
Mmmmm.......I am licking my lips..... I think I can try to make these things for them and not eat them too. You are right about having to have some free food snacks handy for me!

I am on success express at moment so not strictly green or red. Varies by the meal but mainly green I would say.

yep, same problem for me. It just vanished from the shelves. According to my DH it is the most difficult thing on the shopping list for him to find.

My DH and DSs are all losing weight too which is not a good thing as two of them are now very underweight.
I think it is because I cook family meals using SW, and then try to get them to eat cheese on top or puddings, which they rarely do. Does anyone have any answers to this other than cooking seperate meals?
My husband is thin, at points has been underweight so I worry about this too. I've only just started slimming world but have done weightwatchers in the past. With WW I usually ended up having a separate meal from the family, which wasn't great, so I'm trying to do it differently this time.

For some meals, I've been doing a different main element for them and me, e.g. cooked rice, veg and gravy, plus quorn fillet for me, and creamy chicken pie for my husband. He also has a sweet tooth which helps. I try and buy puddings that I'm not keen on but he is, to stop me from eating them when feeling weak. Egg custard tarts are good for putting on weight and the kids love them too, we buy those quite regularly.

My kids have huge appetites, so I don't have to worry about them so much, they just eat more snacks if they have had a low calorie meal. They both love fruit and eat piles of it. They also make little cakes with their Dad for little treats at the weekend, if they've made it themselves then they are bound to eat it.

Hello everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has tried the Del Monte Smoothies that are around at the moment? I can confirm they are absolutely delicious and it feels like a real treat - they're like an ice-cream on a stick! And they've only got around 90 calories per lolly! But I don't know how many syns they are! Does anyone know?
