It's possible (only possible!) you're not eating quite enough - maybe incorporate some snacks through the day to keep that metabolism going (I always used to nibble Babybels for my HEa!) - try something different everyday.
If you're going to a class maybe talk to your consultant? Sorry couldn't have been more help - you seem to be doing everything right!

Thanks for looking SC, I don't go to group, I do it at home by myself (wonder if Consultant31 has any ideas), kind of figure I'm doing everything as right as I can so eventually it'll catch up with me and I'll wake up one morning having dropped a stone or two overnight. A girl can dream!:staradmin0 -
Hi wondering if you could help me at all. Last night the only bread that was in my house was Hovis Best of Both can I use two slices as a Healthy B, maybe not all the time but just on the once off or would I have to syn it?
Also I’m planning to go out for a meal tonight destination is my choice and I can do a either green or red day does anyone have any ideas where I should choose that I could stick to my diet?0 -

Not sure if it helps, but here's the syns for the bread. It's a white bread though, so there' no fibre in it. I sometimes use a different bread for my HEB, but not a white bread, so it's prob best to syn it.
Hovis Best of Both White Bread, 800g medium sliced loaf 1 slice

Green 4½ Syns

Hello SW people.:D Haven't looked at this thread for a while but some people might remember me. I did SW for a year and lost 2 stones. I stopped going earlier in the year (because I hadn't lost any weight for MONTHS). Since I left I have been following the plan myself and have had 2 holidays and haven't gained or lost, which I'm pleased about. I need to lose another 1.5-2 stones but I just can't lose an ounce.
I am doing loads of exercise - walking, cycling, swimming and that makes not a jot of difference!
I feel really well though and can honestly say I have re-educated myself regarding healthy eating. On hol my DH was swooning about this chocolate dessert and I tried just the weeniest slice. I am not kidding - I was very nearly sick! I have not eaten chocolate for so long and this was so RICH! I had to dispose of it and drink a big glass of water.:cool:0 -
Hi
Does anyone have the syn values for the sugar free range from Soda Stream?0 -
Hi, I am as new to Slimming World as I am to Forums, so please bear with me!
I came to this website after Googling for a Syn value and have been fascinated by everyone’s posts...
Wow – You’re all so helpful and honest!
I’ve always tried to lose weight by strict calorie counting in the past, but it always failed miserably before a week was out as I just got hungry and bad tempered and then I just binged, ending up fatter than when I started.
So I thought I’d give Slimming World a try. I’m too shy to attend a class, so I bought the introductory pack from eBay (is that bad?)
I started 1st June and I have so far lost only 4 pounds, which I am a bit disappointed about as I’ve read about people losing more than that in their first week! If I’m completely honest, however, I must admit, I did stray off the path a couple of times.
But I can’t give up, if I lose a pound a week, then that’s a good thing; I’m looking at it this way:
Today is the 25th June 2009 – 6 months since Christmas 2008
Last Christmas doesn’t seem that far away... how time flies!
If I had lost just one pound since last Christmas, I would be 26lb lighter today
That’s nearly two stone!
So my viewpoint is this:
Previously I’ve always wanted a ‘quick fix’ = “lose weight FAST”
But PATIENCE is the Key for me this time!
Just think... it’s the Office Christmas party 2009 and if I don’t stick with it, I’ll be bulging out in a dress that just doesn’t fit and I’ll be kicking myself, thinking “If only I’d been content with losing just 1lb a week since June 25th..."
I was very confused with it at first, but now I find the Slimming World eating plan easy to follow. I’m vegetarian, so all my days are green.
I adore fruit & veg, so that’s handy. I do like chocolate, but my main downfall is dairy – cheese, cream and butter. I also like wine.
Both no -no’s, I know.
I realise there are a few things I need to improve on:
Weighing myself every day. I’ve got to stop doing this!
Exercise more. I have an office job and at the moment my only exercise is walking my dog twice a day.
Stop eating late at night. I’ve heard this isn’t good for the metabolism (not sure what metabolism is, exactly) – or is that a myth?
Buffet lunch at work tomorrow – that’s bad news. In fact it’s pretty terrifying, actually.
Sorry, I’ve just seen how I’ve rambled on, sorry if I have bored you, but I am so determined this time!
I’ll drop by every day to read your posts – you’re brilliant!
Oh, my original question I was Googling for... does anyone know the Syn value of Quorn Wafer Thin Chicken Style Slices? It’s on offer at Sainsbury’s at the moment at £2 a pack (previously £2.57).
Many Thanks!0 -
They're free on green or original days0

Thank you, I'm hopeless at this!0
