Not 100% sure to be honest as I usually have them delivered when I do an online shop but I think they're with the bottled chilli peppers and things like that. I'm sure they're not where you'd expect them to be, if that makes any sense!

Well in my sainsburys they're near the pickles and mayo and ketchup (no where near the tinned veg) but in my waitrose they're next to the tinned tomatoes - weird!! I would just look everywhere, but to help there are usually other antipasto jars with it (olives etc..)

I looked at that recipe too in the one pot book........might try it later in the week let us know how you get on

consultant31 - i was looking on another thread and found your couscous cake recipe my consultant told us that they are higher in syns than you mention as its kind of bending the rules as i understand it have the rules changed? i am new to plan and still learning ...........

is there a good book of cake and biccie recipes i love baking but find the synning of ingredients dificult as i have to divide everything by 28g why are there no syn values for 100g iykwim

Yes, I'm sorry about that - the recipe is rather old and since then making cakes from couscous has become a no-no. It's classed as misuse of free food, which can result in your weight loss slowing down unacceptably (or even stopping altogether). I will delete the recipe.

In group, there is a Delicious Deserts book which has some very yummy recipes, though not cakes or biccies I'm afraid. This is one area not too well covered, but if you go onto the website and have a trawl through the archives there are definitely some luscious cskes........your only problem here is to stop at the one slice which will be well within your syn allowance. The best way IMO is too cut the cake into slices immediately it's cooled enough, take out the slice you're allowing yourself and pop the rest straight in the freezer.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Yes they're in brine. They taste nice too. Not the cheapest thing in the world but you get lots in a jar x

...another fortnight another load of mullers needed.

Looks like the Sainsbury offer has closed. Anyone spotted a 25p a pot offer anywhere?
