  • Hi,

I have just found Joe's sausages and they are certified syn free!! Just type Joe's sausages and the site will come up. You have to order 8 packs but there is such a huge variety and they are georgeous, and burgers etc as well. Dinner tonight is definately Sausages, SW chips, dry fry eggs and baked beans....all free on EE.

Hope I am allowed to post the url :j

Somewhere Im sure an Actifry was mentioned and the syns but cant find it.

Anyone use one with Frylite? or how many syns with oil please.

OH wants 'real' chips so thinking it would be a compromise.

Hi can anyone tell me the syn value for Cauldren organic Falafel on a green/Ee day please.

They were £1 in Morrissons and looked yummy. Morrissons also have their Eat Smart Pork sausages (free) for £1.79 instead of £1.99. Not a massive saving but I do like them for my brekkie on a red day and find them too expensive. id love to try Joe sasauges but its too dear to get the minimim amout required.

Could someone check I'm doing this right? I'm trying out EE before starting class next week.

B - 28g porridge oats (HE) with skimmed milk from HE
L - 2 egg omlette with 2 rashers bacon, 2 quorn sausages, lots of mushrooms and toms
D - quorn chilli (home made), rice and large green salad
Snacks - 2 mullerlights, picked at some chicken in fridge, fruit
    Syns - WW crisps - 4

Have I got it right? 2 HE's a day and anything free on plans as snacks? Anything else I need to know?

    Thank you!

Ooohhh, thank you very much for that nic2075.

I'm just working through what's in the house at the mo so I'll be back up to full steam on first WI next week.

Do you do EE yourself? Do you find you have to watch portion sizes to get a result? How on earth does this work - I've always done the green or red before so really interested in feedback on results.

The Crusha is No Added Sugar and is free (has 7kcal per 100ml of syrup and I only use 25ml in my milkshake so only have 2kcal in)

I do usually vary my breakfast between toast, poached egg on toast, cheese omlette, 42g Crunchy Bran, Weetabix, Porridge and 28g Aldi Sugar Wheat Puffs

I just havent got any of those in and we go on holiday soon so didnt want to buy them till I got back lol

I dont like any fruit on my cereal lol cos I do eat fruit by itself throughout the day.

I do eat yogurt and fruit (but I put a meringue in for 2.5 syns as well)

I have used fry light and I dont like it, I make my chips this way, I peel and cut the potatoes into chips, I put them in a freezer bag, pour 1 tsp oil in the bag mix the chips around, put them on the tray spray with fry light then sprinkle with mixed herbs and I love them that way, and my oil is only 2 syns so I dont see the need to cut that out if I enjoy it? (sometimes I mix the chips with a tsp of marmite as well)

Is the NAS crusha new? Its not listed on syns online and I wouldnt mind trying a sugar free one mmmmmm......ooops Im meant to be trying to stick to 1 HEA....

I'm a bit peeved! :o It's my 2nd week doing SW and I STS. I followed the diet rigourlously allowing myself between 2-7 syns a day. The only thing I can think I boobed with is bread, I've got WW malted danish, just been having 2 pieces in the moring with either beans or mashed banana on top. According to the book I should have bought WW malted brown. Surely would this slight hiccup have caused this blip?

Oh, and another thing. You know fruit is supposed to be free, well I ate loads last week making myself yummy fruit salads (melon, strawberries, blueberries) and pouring a pot of muller yogurt with sprinkles, vanilla, so that should be syn free. But at what about the sugar content I must have had loads. At what point in the diet do you need to start to be aware of calories/sugar/portion control?

I can be a bit of a greedy pig and have just ate loads of free foods with very few syns. Do I need to up my syn intake at all to help speed up weight loss, I'd have thought that as it's only my 2nd week I'd have shifted some flab? :o

    Wasn't star week either!
Be happy, it's the greatest wealth :)
