Well, had my lunch - it was lovely although it did involve a bit more booze than I had really thought, so gone OT on the syns. I will stick to 5 a day for the rest of the week except Friday when I'll have a couple of spritzers - and see if that cancels it all out.

    Food was (Red):

B: 2 x apples, LF yog, choc options (2 syns)
    S: Banana
L: Asparagus starter w/ dressing (2 syns), Grilled tuna steak, a few potato wedges (not that many cos they were'nt that nice - HEB) with tomatoes and rocket. Wine - 1/2 a bottle + a spritzer + 2 x G&T's (a squillion syns? not sure, but def too many)
D: Salad w/ Laughing cow extra light triangles (HEA) and scan bran cake (HEB)

I think that means I did ok (aside from the syns) had a great day out anyway and was listened to for a change, so that was nice!

    Tomorrow (green):

B: Strawbs, apple, pineapple, LF yog
    S: Banana & babybel (HEA)
    L: 2 x eggs, salad & butternut soup, muller
D: Egg noodles (Sharwoods fine egg - I think they're free?!), grilled salmon (HEB) w/ chinese 5 spice, stirfry veg (no oil) and Asda Szechuan sauce not sure how many syns?? hmm, hopefully not too many more than 5 to make up for today...

I think that makes me an HEA & an HEB short - how important is that?

Right, I need to go and clean as the estate agent is coming tomorrow, gulp.

Morning all. its raining here and very dull.

I stated back on SW proper on Monday, so far ive stuck to it 100% and still feel happy that ive not been tempted by pizza or fish and chips. Im trying to use my syns daily rather than save them for the weekend. That way im enjoying a choccy biscuit with my tea break and a WW carrot cake slice at night so I feel im getting yummy treats. If I save them for the weekend I just take advantage and go overboard.

Im having a green day -

    B - 2 x weetabix and 150ml milk (heb,hea)
Tea break - Blue ribband(5 syns) black tea
L - Asdas reduced fat egg mayo (is this still free? ) on nimble (free, heb), 2 satsumas, banana, shape lasting sat yog and a mugshot. hehe ill be stuffed after that lot but its a busy afternoon and ages til tea.
D - left over 3 bean chilli and rice (free)
Drinks wiil be loads of water and the odd cuppa, will have WW carrot cake slice (2 1/2 syns) with tea tonight.

    have a nice day

My mam grates that Ye Olde Oak Ham and mixes it with cooked chopped onion and quark or cottage cheese and makes that into mini quiches and puts a HEA of cheese grated on the top of them (you can have 42g catherdal city light and its lush) and they are totally gorgeous

For anyone who has Laughing Cow as a HEA and has trouble eating the 5 you need for a HEA, I had this problem so instead I get the extra light laughing cow which have 1 syn in each, I have one of them on my toast in the morning for a syn then that leaves me with a full A for later :)

I made the ginger scan bran cake and it was to die for, 6.5 syns in the whole cake (and I got 6 big slices out of it) and it was lovely! (and yes it made me go to the loo lol)

the only thing is I cooked it in a loaf tin and it was totally cake-cooked all the way through, so I am going to try it again and cook it in individual cake cases cos I think that might cook it better?

I'm not entirely sure if it is free as I couldn't find it in the syns list! The one I use was bought from Sainsbury's and is made by Pasta Di Peperoncino. Does anyone else know if this is syn free?
