Does that count with yogurts too? If i had say 4 would that be a misuse?

Its not a misuse but from personal experience I found it hindered my weight loss and my consultant said I should cut back as I was having 4 a day :o and it worked!

    I need help.

2 weeks ago at Slimming I lost half a pound which I was really uspet with as I had had an amazing week, but we decided as it was star week that is why it wasnt more than half a pound

Last thursday I go to class and I gain 2 pound?????? havent got a clue why, I stuck to the plan 100% after talking with the leader and the class it was decided it might be cos I have quit smoking and although I havent eaten anymore than I normally do, I hadnt been to the toilet for 5 days (and I used to go twice a day) lots of people pipped up saying when you smoke you have a faster metabolisim, so its possible that it where the gain came from?

So this week, I am very proud of myself instead of mopping I have stuck to it 100% again, and I am feeling very positive, BUT I again havent been to the loo since thursday

Now thats not good lol, I have Wholemeal bread every other day for breakfast and on the other days I have porridge or cereal, so I am getting fibre

I need help with what else I can eat to boost my fibre to make me go to the loo

We got a book of scan bran recepies on thursday and I was going to have a go at making a scan bran cake

But I was wondering if anyone knew of any other things I could have?

Would eating loads of speed foods help?

I know someone that swears by a HE portion of stewed rhubarb the day before weigh in....might be worth a go? You could syn some custard to go on top?

15 syns as well, not sure I actually want anything else!

Dont force yourself to have syns that you dont want, stick to between 5 and 15, tweak it to fit your day. I often have 0 syn days and I do get some stick at group, usually from the men, who tell me I wont lose if I dont have my syns, but I have done and Im at target now.

Hello all, haven't posted in a while as been quite busy. I have to say I've been finding it really hard. I have gone out for a meal about 4 times in the last 2 weeks and have not made much of an effort to stick to plan. I didn't drink anything though and I find that makes it all much worse. However it's my birthday tomorrow and I went out on saturday night (having had a takeaway curry on fri eve!!!!!!) and drank quite a lot, I really tried to be good and mainly had vodka and soda, but then slipped had 2 LARGE glasses of wine and a jaggermister and red bul!!!! (and was bought an apple sourz!!) God I hate how horrid I feel about it all.

I am going out to zizzis with the family tonight, after my WI (which i'm terrified of as I put on 0.5 lb last week) and then tomorrow i'm in london and will be eating out again! I just can't seem to choose the SW options when eating out, cos it doesn't feel a treat. Please can I have some help!! I have been being good the rest of the time, so am not completely blowing the diet as I know that could be even worse, but I'm not really lowering my syns other days to make up for being so bad!!

I feel quite depressed which is sad over my bday. Thanks for any advice in advance xxx

I prefer green days, I find I can get more variety into my diet than an original day. I got WI tomorrow night so hopefully I've lost 1-2lbs this week cos I've been to the gym 3 times this week.
Be happy, it's the greatest wealth :)

Not having the HEA has been an accident. When I started I planned to follow the EE plan, I just happened to not have any meat on these days which has made it a green day by accident lol Looks like I'll have to have a milky coffee today then?! 15 syns as well, not sure I actually want anything else!

Thank you for taking a look though :)

You don't have to force yourself of course, but if you only have 5 or so a day now, you have nowhere to cut back when the rate of loss slows.

You can use syns to add extra flavour to your meals rather than adding extra treats. You could have 'real' gravy (instead of Oxo type stuff), add apple sauce to your pork, extra mayo to your salad......you get the idea I'm sure.

Since this is meant to be a plan you can live with for ever, you may as well make your meals tasty and exciting!

  • I'm sure as I get the hang of the plan a little more I will learn to incorporate more into my meals. Also I'm sure the losses won't slow down for a long while as I have a lot of weight to lose. Maybe as I go on I will find treats and meals I prefer which will have more syns and learn what does and doesn't work for me! For example, I made my own coleslaw today and added way too much onion so didn't end up eating all of it which means I am now down on some syns and HEXA after making it with mayo and laughing triangles (this is what I've decided to call them lol). Maybe i'll have 2 mini milks hehe

    I'm sure you'll be fine :)

Have you tried adding some grated celeriac to home made coleslaw, I love it. I also like to mix a teaspoonful of horseradish sauce with the mayo for a change sometimes. Ooh, it's making me drool - I think I'll nip and make some right now :rotfl:
