    I need help.

2 weeks ago at Slimming I lost half a pound which I was really uspet with as I had had an amazing week, but we decided as it was star week that is why it wasnt more than half a pound

Last thursday I go to class and I gain 2 pound?????? havent got a clue why, I stuck to the plan 100% after talking with the leader and the class it was decided it might be cos I have quit smoking and although I havent eaten anymore than I normally do, I hadnt been to the toilet for 5 days (and I used to go twice a day) lots of people pipped up saying when you smoke you have a faster metabolisim, so its possible that it where the gain came from?

So this week, I am very proud of myself instead of mopping I have stuck to it 100% again, and I am feeling very positive, BUT I again havent been to the loo since thursday

Now thats not good lol, I have Wholemeal bread every other day for breakfast and on the other days I have porridge or cereal, so I am getting fibre

I need help with what else I can eat to boost my fibre to make me go to the loo

We got a book of scan bran recepies on thursday and I was going to have a go at making a scan bran cake

But I was wondering if anyone knew of any other things I could have?

Would eating loads of speed foods help?

Hi, I posted a few weeks ago saying I was getting back on Sw, but I wasnt in the right frame of mind then. I tried on a size 14 dress last night that I got for my cousins wedding 4th July. It was too big for me at xmas when I bought it, but now I look 8 months pregnant!!
I started SW March 08 weighing 13st 3 Id got down to 10 st 7 by xmas. BUT ive been a lazy pig and now weigh 12 st 3!!!!! all my hard work is wasted and I feel disgusting.
Ive bought the new mag and made 3 recipes this weekend (sticky pork, Jamacian Jerk chicken and Fish stew) all were delicious so ive no excuse.
Id like to lose 8lbs by the wedding at least. Ive sarted back today. And am just back from the shop all stocked up and ready.
Im going to do more excercise than ive ever did before. i dont have time to go to classes so will do it with your help. its good to see familiar names still here (skint Catt, Flat eric, Judds and Angie etc ) .
Thanks for reading, im off to make a cheese, onion and bacon omlette for lunch and am having more sticky pork for tea. YUM

Hi, first of all WELLDONE on giving up smoking :T
Sounds like your doing all the right things. It should even out in the next couple of weeks your body will adjust.
keep drinking loads of water, eat loads of roughage and beans etc. Eat loads of fruit too. Watch you dont over do the fibre as it might bung you up also.
Keep varying your meals and heb and hopefully youll find a difference over the next couple of weeks.

Thanks :) I am very proud on the quitting smoking, I am only on day 7 but still I feel great

I will keep plodding on :) I am just worried I dont get what I want at the scales this week cos I am worried how much more positive I can be if I have another week of not doing so well lol

Good luck on your weight loss :) I am sure you can get at least 8 pounds off for the wedding!

kindofagilr - as Nic says - water helps flush you out so do try to keep your water intake to 2 litres a day.
