Good news guys.......I am a pizza express addict (I use clubcard deals to finance it!) But since doing SW am gutted that I can only have salads there.
I still go, but have to say experience is not as good as when you get to eat pizza! Anyway they are teaming up with Weightwatchers and from April are offering the menu below which consist of pizzas containing 500 calories each!
The question on everyone's lips.....'how many syns?????'
.
I love pizza - I'm guessing 25 syns? When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Quote from Daily Mail:
The Italian chain is baking a range of new 'leggera' (light) pizzas that contain 500 calories - half the typical calorie count - and score 7.5 points.
Low-fat cheese is used and the centre of the pizza is removed and filled with salad, thereby halving the amount of dough.
.
thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

Doing a bit of digging... a WW oval pizza is 3.5 points or 8 syns... so I'm thinking if a PE pizza is 7.5 points, it must work out around the 18 syns mark... minus 6 syns if you count the cheese as a HE? So 12 syns. Is that logical? My brain hurts....0 -
It's a good guess mina......I would be happy to eat half of one of those with some extra salad!!!
I have always wondered why more restaurants etc don't take advantage of the slimming pound as so many peops are watching their weight etc
Let's face it if we were offered low syn pizzas and desserts...there would be no reason to not indulge! Hence we would spend more money etc0 -

Me too. Actually, I keep thinking it would be really useful to set up something like a wiki for eating out on SW, where we could recommend local places that do nice SW-friendly food. After a year on this, I know the hottest jacket potato joints in town :cool:0 -
