Sometimes, when you put in a larger quantity (eg 100g through the syns calculator) it has syns.... ie a small amount has neg calories, but a larger amount would have to be synned.
I make my own......any number of eggs + vlf mayo mixed half & half with quark (or fromage frais or even plain yoghurt), a sprinkle of sea-salt & black pepper, and sometimes a spring onion chopped very finely (yum)!
The mayo is ½syn for 1 level tablespoon so you can easily count what you have, it's quick to make and IMO it's much nicer than any shop boughtI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

I think someone posted this link to a quiche the other day. Just wanted to say that I tried the recipe adding a raw onion too and it was cracking. Thanks to whoever gave the original tip.

I was also experimenting with adding sweetner today to a vanilla muller to see if I could make custard or the basis for an ice cream. It wasn't bad, almost masked the yoghurt tang. Worth a try, I used 2 desert spoons of sweeter to one pot of vanilla muller.

Don't forget your Health As and don't worry about SW working - it does, with bells on :rotfl:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Friday good day, weekend diet down the pan, I attended a course where lunch was catered for, the food was absolutely blissful, the best veg food I have eaten in a long time. Very very healthy too if you do not consider the calories aspect, so I feel absolutely ok about it.
As expected, starting tomorrow again.
Good night all! xFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
Good news guys.......I am a pizza express addict (I use clubcard deals to finance it!) But since doing SW am gutted that I can only have salads there.
I still go, but have to say experience is not as good as when you get to eat pizza! Anyway they are teaming up with Weightwatchers and from April are offering the menu below which consist of pizzas containing 500 calories each!
The question on everyone's lips.....'how many syns?????'
Quote from Daily Mail:
The Italian chain is baking a range of new 'leggera' (light) pizzas that contain 500 calories - half the typical calorie count - and score 7.5 points.
Low-fat cheese is used and the centre of the pizza is removed and filled with salad, thereby halving the amount of dough.
WHAT'S ON THE MENU
The Gustosa:
Italian for 'tasty', it combines hand-torn prosciutto cotto ham with slices of Portobello mushroom, sweet yellow pepper, light Fior di Latte mozzarella and fresh thyme. A meaty pizza that's still light.
The Margherita Leggera:
This is a lighter version of the classic pizza with light Fior di Latte mozzarella, santos tomatoes and fresh basil.
The Vitabella:
Meaning 'good life', this has asparagus spears, mixed chargrilled vegetables and red and yellow peppers on a base of tomato sauce and light mozzarella. Super healthy and counts as one of your five a day.0 -

They look delicious! Hmmm... not sure what the syn value would be and PE are not good at giving away their nutritional info! I'll be eating these anyway - seeing as I can NEVER leave the yummy bread strips they give with the salads anywayYou can always call the mozzarella a HE....
