Time I popped back to this thread. I am now only a pound off losing five stones since I started SW in Sewpt 08. Which is a brilliant result.

I can only echo the comments about weight loss slowing right down, I knew it would happen. Although I lost 3lb this week it's only been the odd half pound pretty much since January, and even the odd gain.

But I'm not bothered because I'm hugely lighter than I was. If I never lost again ever it wouldn't be the end of the world as long as it didn't start going up again.

I'm 3lb off target but actually I still look a bit portly and it's possible that ideally my target should be less than that. I'll play it by ear, I'll be due at least a few free weeks when I hit it and I'll take it from there. If I can lose more, then I want to.

Thanks for sharing your weight loss achievements, it really helps to spur me on knowing that it has worked for so many people.

First WI tonight and I really do hope I have lost this week as I have been an :A
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Hello all, went to WI last night and lost 4lbs!!! Am VERY chuffed!! Managed to drag my Mum back with me so she's re=joined but didn't get the extra easy book in her pack - is this just a mistake or have they stopped giving them out? Only got 2 more pounds until half a stone and I really want to lose it by my bday (17th) so finger crossed!!

There should definitely be an Extra Easy book in every pack. I suspect the Consultant has pinched it out for some reason and forgotten to put it back (just the sort of thing I do :o). Tell your Mum to ask for one next week.

Have plenty of SS foods over the next couple of weeks and it should help you lose those extra pounds before your birthday :)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

That's a fantastic achievement! I've nearly lost 2 stone, and have about 3 to go (if I'm honest, and ignore all the people who say that would be too much!!)

It's good to know it is possible if I just keep plodding away at it!

Wow all these people loosing lots of weight is such an inspiration, congrats to you all! I have to say I've been a bit naughty, my OH has made SW burger for diner and I'm have bread for lunch (on a green day) so only got a banana for breakie, I usually have hi fi bar, or alpen light or cereal. Use a B choice but their both taken. I must PLAN PLAN PLAN properly! otherwise I know I wont loose the weight and I so want to. Its weird though cos I already feel a bit slimmer!! Will sit down tonight and properly plan, then do a bit of shopping tomorrow maybe. will research recipes today on lunch break!

ps thanks consultant, I will get my mum to ask our consultant next tues

    A huge well done!! :T:T:T
I'm close to target now (or at least the magic number in my head!) and I've been really struggling with losing lately ( last 6 weeks or so) the frustrating thing being that even when I get to 'target', I'm not 100% sure that thats where I'll be content, It's just a number afterall! My consultant knows how frustrated I've been getting and sent me the info through about the 'fast forward' plan which I've been doing since Monday and I have to say I wonder if I was eating enough on the plan before. Let me explain, I think I'm a bit of a piggy and eat large portions and so have been trying to cut back to kickstart the weightloss. I'd read up about the 'fast forward' plan and all the horror stories about how very restrictive it was both in terms of choice and in portions size. As I say I've been doing it since Monday and I think I've been eating a lot more that I was before, so maybe I'm not the piggy that I thought I was and the weightloss has slowed because I've simply not been eating enough. WI is tonight for me so we will get the verdict then I guess.

Can I ask how many of you many a definite effort to exercise more as well as following the SW plan? I find it hard to exercise - theres always something that needs doing instead, eg the ironing!

    Hi,

I am so happy I have found this thread! I joined SW three weeks ago and have lost 7 1/2 pounds so far but the support mid-week from here would be so wonderful :) Stumbled across it on Google when searching for the syn value of Tesco light carrot and corriander soup .. this was a better find!

Thought I would say hi! I am a 21 year old student from Lancashire :T
