    Hi all,

Hubby had WI tonight and lost another 1 1/2 lbs, it is going in the right direction and the inches are losing well too.

Please can someone remind me how the SW works regarding holidays/weeks not attending? I can't remember - but it has been a few years! Thank you x

You can have 6 weeks as a holiday and after that any that you miss have to be paid for. We have to notify our consultant of holidays in advance.

Need help with the syns for strawberry milk from sainsburys. According to the slimming world website 250ml is 10 syns, however can i use part the drink as a HE A i.e the milk part and just syn the rest?

Don't think you're supposed to do that but if you did then a HE is usually 6 syns (I think) so surely you could just take 6 off and say the milk is 4 syns? The main part is still milk so I can't see why that'd be wrong to do. I think 250 ml of skimmed milk is a HE. Not sure cos the OH has skimmed milk.
  • I don't know if that would be allowed, if its pre-made stuff I would syn the whole amount, but I could be wrong!! Consultant, what would you recommend??!!

Syns for basic cooking ingredients can be found in the middle of your red/green Food Optimising book under Kitchen Basics! Haven't got my book here, so can't give you any more detail than that!

I think you can do that cos our consultant always says if you are out and you get a made sandwich from boots for example and you get brown bread then you can take 6 syns off for the bread so I woudl have thought you could do the same for Milk?

I dont know if any of you drink Crusha?

But you can get a No Added Sugar Strawberry one, which has 4kcal per 25ml shot, so if I use it with my HA milk am I right in thinking it will be free?

Also I think I have made an amazing discovery lol

I like Aunt Bessie York Puds, I get the frozen ones that are just batter and you cook them for 25 mins, I get the pack of 12, now they are 49kcal per Y Pud therefore 2.5 syns per Y.Pud

Well I was in Asda the other day and I bought some more, and I was cooking Sunday Dinner and I noticed the box says new and improved recepie, and now they only have 9.5kcal in them so 0.5 syns!!! :) I was soooo happy when I saw that lol

I am going to go on the syns calc tonight just to check, but I cant see how they are more than 0.5 syns

From comparing the ingrediants on the old and new box they have changed from semi-skimmed milk to skimmed
