    Hi all

I have been following this thread with interest for the past week or so.....FINALLY weighed myself & it was awful, much worse than I expected  I need to lose a minimum one stone & maybe another to go with it, no wonder none of my summer clothes fit me

I'm not sure I want to go to the classes again (I have been before & have all the books etc already), I just wondered if anyone had joined the online SW from the website?? & if so do you have any thoughts on how it works? Perhaps i would be as well just using the info i have & the support on here, which seems marvellous:D.

What put me off joining was that you have to put in all your info & it still didn't tell me how much it was going to cost , not until you have to put in your card no anyway.

i did like the look of the week's sample menu (I usually do green as I like pasta/rice etc & don't eat much meat). Any advice most welcome :rotfl:

I thik the online is about £60 for 3 month but you have to pay it all in 1 go

if you have all the books and things i would say just to get the support on here but if you find you are struggling then join online or go to some of the classes (at the mo its half price joining) - unfortunately the classes by me are too early (and I wouldnt be able to afford to go ever week) so I am going to join and get the books and get support from here - im also taking a friend so we can be SW buddies when things get rough!!!!!

I am so dissapointed I have only managed to lose half a pound on my first week of SW plan:o And that is probably just water/time of day or something.

Must go back to the books and start again I think.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Hi everyone

Can anyone give any advice on what books to buy at the meeting, or if any of them are any good? My friend says she can't manage without the food directory, and I was considering the 'free branded foods' and 'low sin snacks' too. Am I right in thinking that the last 2 are just excepts from the food directory in a handbag size? I'm a bit confused and my consultant didn't have any in stock (she just orders them if someone wants one).
  • Thanks for the comments re: implanon, I had it changed on Thursday and I feel much better already, I am going to stick with it for now as this is the 3rd one I've had, usually my periods stop but it seems for the last 10-12 months of the two that I have had, I get periods, nothing too major, sometimes painful, but I can deal with them!! I think I was hyper-senstive this week, (which is what always happens on my period) but have stuck to the plan 100% for 3 days on the trot, 4 more till weigh in, so I feel confident again!!

Also, I bought myself a beautiful dress at Tesco's (only £14.01 after the 20% reduction and VAT back) for the prom at the school I work in, it makes me feel amazing so I will work extra hard for the next 4 weeks, to make sure I feel good on the night!!

My favourite book is the 100 days one, its a little book but has 100 days of red and green meals to give you a load of different ideas, I don't have the food directory or the other 2 you mention because I use the website a lot, and if I fancy something but don't know how many syns it is I guesstimate it according to the calories and then add a few syns for good measure, then I check it I'm not usually that wrong, and have been surprised a few times its not as bad as I think!!!

Woo hoo. After a couple of very unpredicatable weeks and going off plan numerous times, I put a pound on over the fortnight. This morning, lost the pound again and another one for good measure!
Only a fortnight off my 52 week weigh in - can't believe I've stuck to it all this time. It's working really well, I feel better in myself, I look better and I'm getting slimmer!!!

Good luck to everyone else over the BH weekend - try not to be too naughty! x
