I am dreading WI tomorrow night, I haven't been particularly good this week but not terribly bad either but will prob be lucky to sts.
I am going to have to make myself stick to the plan like glue and write everything down that I eat next week & am also gonna have to make myself better more filling lunches for work but am having a lack of imagination on that front.
I think that there's a section on the SW website specifically for packed lunches to try and combat boredom, might be worth having a look at that? I hope tomorrow isn't as bad as you fear but you've made plans to get back on track and that shows that you're still committed.Slimming World convert, joined 23rd April 2009

Big congratulations for the great losses this week:)
I am really struggling, I just seem to be obsessed with food at the moment...all I can think about is what can I eat next, I am constantly snacking, even when I have eaten a big meal and am not even hungry!!!! I really need help......

I made SW lamb, potato and spinach curry last night (after being told about it by a member in class) and it was absolutely scrummy would defo recommend it if you like a good curry - plus new potatoes seem to be on offer just about everywhere at the min!
Really easy and quick to make too which I know is important to a lot of people. I'm pretty sure the recipe is in the SW archives on-line, but if anyone wants the recipe let me know an I'll quickly type it out.
Hope everyones having a good day!!)

Green - 0 Syns (add 6 syns if not using lamb as HE)
Extra Easy - 0 Syns
Ingredients
1lb 12oz/792g new potatoes
2 red onions
2 garlic cloves
1in/2.5cm piece fresh ginger
fry light
12oz/340g extra-lean minced lamb
2tbsp curry powder
400g can of tomatoes
1/4pt/142ml chicken stock made with bovril

Very low fat natural yoghurt to drizzle (optional)
Coriander to garnish- slice the new potatoes in half (do not peel) and boil until cooked. Meanwhile peel, halve and thinly slice the onions, peel and crush the garlic and peel and grate the root ginger.
- spray a pan with fry light and cook the onions until soft. Add the garlic, ginger, minced lamb and curry powder and cook for 5-6 mins until the lamb is sealed and lightly browned. Add the tomatoes and stock and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and cook for a 8-10 mins.
- Stir in the potatoes and baby spinach, season well and cook until heated through. Remove from the heat and serve drizzled with very low fat natural yoghurt if liked, and garnish with fresh coriander.
If you dont like minced lamb I'm sure you could substitute it with a n other meat.

Hi all
I have been following this thread with interest for the past week or so.....FINALLY weighed myself & it was awful, much worse than I expected  I need to lose a minimum one stone & maybe another to go with it, no wonder none of my summer clothes fit me
I'm not sure I want to go to the classes again (I have been before & have all the books etc already), I just wondered if anyone had joined the online SW from the website?? & if so do you have any thoughts on how it works? Perhaps i would be as well just using the info i have & the support on here, which seems marvellous:D.
What put me off joining was that you have to put in all your info & it still didn't tell me how much it was going to cost, not until you have to put in your card no anyway.
i did like the look of the week's sample menu (I usually do green as I like pasta/rice etc & don't eat much meat). Any advice most welcome :rotfl:New start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 .
